Jane Fonda, one of the most visible faces in the anti-war campaign against the Vietnam War, four decades later, on January 2015, chose to repent and asked for forgiveness after she was confronted by a group of veterans of the conflict at an event in Maryland, with statements that surprised both strangers and her own .-----------------------------------------------------------Fonda, 77, called the trip to North Vietnam in 1972 and his photos posing alongside North Vietnamese troops "capital mistake." A fact that American soldiers interpreted as a direct attack on their interests and their service to the homeland .-----------------------------------------It's something that 50 veterans reminded the New York interpreter during an event at the Weinberg Center in Maryland, with signs alluding to her affront. "Forgive? Maybe. Forget? Never," said one of the posters displayed in protest. Fonda, however, preferred to avoid confrontation and opted for a pacifying speech, claiming that his message was misunderstood and that it was never her intention to offend her countrymen. "It hurts and will do so to the grave because I made a serious, serious mistake that made many people think I was against the soldiers," she said, knowing that her actions earned her the nickname of 'Hanoi Jane' at the time, a stigma that could not be shaken off .---------------------------------Some of the protesters, however, did not have enough with the apology and pointed to Fonda as responsible for the death of soldiers for her intervention in the conflict. A serious accusation to which the actress preferred not to respond. --------------------------------------- This lady when she went to North Vietnam, completely ignored the provisions of the Constitution in Article III. Section 3. Clause 1.: “Betrayal against the United States will only consist in waging war against it or joining its enemies, providing them with help and protection.” ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------There is no doubt that this woman committed treason. However, she was not punished and pretends that her act was only a big mistake; but at least she acknowledged her mistake, which does not happen in other cases, such as that of Mr. Bernie Sanders, who does not regret having accommodated the ideas of the enemies of the United States and even today continues in one way or another defending those ideas .---------------------------------------------As a student at the University of Chicago he fought against the Vietnam War. In the 1980s, when he was mayor of the small town of Burlington, in Vermont, he made several trips to the Soviet Union, Cuba and Nicaragua. Statements and photos of him then circulate now in the media and social networks. In 1985 he praised the health system launched by the Sandinistas in Nicaragua, where he had spent a week. It was common to say that on the American left, especially when a dictatorship supported by Cuba and the USSR had been established in that Central American nation. In 1988, when he returned from the Soviet Union with a municipal delegation, he said he was "impressed" by transportation and public health care. Similarly, after visiting Cuba in 1989, Sanders praised its "achievements" in education and health. Recently he did it again, in an interview with the 60 Minutes program, of the CBS network, in which he stated that "it was unfair to say that everything (imposed) by (Fidel) Castro had been bad" because his literacy program was beneficial for Cubans on the island.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sanders entered politics as independent, qualification that maintains, although he is running for office by the Democratic party and as a good Marxist has spent his entire career fighting for socialism, to which he has now placed the label of democratic, trying to make a Hegelian dialectical triad in which the thesis is socialism, joining it to the antithesis that is democracy, to achieve synthesis, which is the process of overcoming the contradiction of antithesis. In this sense, it corresponds to the denial of a denial, that is, the affirmation of a new thesis; and with that, he is emulating with Lenin, Mussolini, Hitler and Mao Zedong, who failed in the same effort, because socialism and democracy are irreconcilable; what is proven, because it always ends in a dictatorship, and not of the proletariat but against the proletariat, with the creation of a new class. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It is noteworthy as he praises the efforts of China, another "authoritarian country" that he says, "brought more people out of extreme poverty than any other country in history." Of course, he would not mention that Deng Xiaoping broke with Marxism, which led China to market economy and private property, which is contrary to socialist planning. -----------------According to him, his is a "democratic socialism" that emulates the Nordic countries and seeks more social equity, pretending that these countries are socialist, when he knows that such a statement is a lack of truth. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Both Republicans and Democrats do not hesitate to call him “communist". For Bernie Sanders this was a "low blow" that Michael Bloomberg labeled him as such in one of the debates in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination. Also Joe Biden and Pete Buttigieg, both moderates, took advantage of the visits that Sanders made to the former USSR, to Nicaragua governed by the Sandinistas during the first dictatorship, and to Castro's Cuba in the 1980s to present it as a threat to the system United States democratic and free market.----------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------Bernie in relation to socialism, is comparable to those actors and actresses of Hollywood, as well as athletes who support extreme political positions, who have nothing to gain and much to lose with their behavior .------------- ------------------------------------------------------------- --- The word "socialism" is inextricably linked with "Marxism", "communism", "Nazi-fascism", "destruction", "death", "genocide", abuse ", etc. Who defends this system is in the place of Lenin, Stalin, Mussolini, Hitler, Mao Zedong, Kim Il Sung, Pol Pot, Castro and others. ------
