During the Ronald Reagan years, https://tinyurl.com/Ronald-Reagan, our 40th President, a Conservative and Tip O'Neill https://tinyurl.com/Tip-ONeill the 47th Speaker of House and a Liberal were able to collaborate on many pieces of legislation. This is exactly how our founders envisioned the country working - just like Adams, a Conservative and Jefferson, a Liberal did when the two of them collaborated (with others) to write the Declaration of Independence.
The question is: Will our political atmosphere return to being like Reagan/O'Neill or Adams/Jefferson? It will take two leaders, one from each political spectrum, to decide to sit down and act like "the adults in the room". From where I sit, it won't happen until the results of an an election - when the American people have spoken - are respected.

Nope, that ship has sailed. There's no money in cooperation, but there's plenty big dollars in division, chaos and controversy.

I keep telling people; when you want to know the cause for anything.....................look for the money, it's ALWAYS about the money.
