In the wake of the Virginia gun rights rally on Monday, Democrats in the Capitol are not slowing down their push for tyranny. They are moving a bill through the legislature that would effectively criminalize dissent against Governor Blackface Northam and other state government officials.

House Bill 1627 was introduced by Delegate Jeffrey M. Bourne last week. The legislation “provides that certain crimes relating to threats and harassment may be prosecuted in the City of Richmond if the victim is the Governor, Governor-elect, Lieutenant Governor, Lieutenant Governor-elect, Attorney General, or Attorney General-elect, a member or employee of the General Assembly, a justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia, or a judge of the Court of Appeals of Virginia.”

Language in the bill explicitly criminalizes free speech, in what would constitute a blatant attack on the 1st Amendment of the Constitution.

“If any person, with the intent to coerce, intimidate, or harass any person, shall use a computer or computer network to communicate obscene, vulgar, profane, lewd, lascivious, or indecent language, or make any suggestion or proposal of an obscene nature, or threaten any illegal or immoral act, he is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor,” the legislation reads.

Should Democrats be charged with TREASON for the impeachment scam? Vote Now

The legislation makes it clear that the above provision applies directly to “the Governor, Governor-elect, Lieutenant Governor, Lieutenant Governor-elect, Attorney General, or Attorney General-elect, a member or employee of the General Assembly, a justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia, or a judge of the Court of Appeals of Virginia,” which means this legislation effectively criminalizes dissent against public officials.

Tina Freitas, wife of Republican Delegate Nick Freitas, called attention to this intolerable act in a Facebook post on Tuesday night.

“Wow on cue, now they are after the 1A! Dems are trying to set up special rules exclusive to the Elite ruling class, to protect themselves from criticism!” Freitas wrote.

I tried to vote. This is heinous legislation! Aren’t these people also sworn to uphold our Constitution? They’ve got their foot in the door in Virginia, I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop. Wonder where, if they get this through in Virginia, will they go
next...my guess Massachusetts.

I should have added...thank you to Freitas. We have a park here called Freitas or at least it’s on Freitas Street. There must’ve been someone involved in the Constitution from Virginia.

It is my understanding that this is the result of Republicans not going to the polls in the last election. I hope Republicans across the nation will take notice.

I believe that happened. It happened once before when a Black Democrat was elected. Please, please everyone get out and vote and insist everyone you know does the same. Haven’t we all learned a lesson by this!

I cannot believe this would pass without being challenged. This information needs to go viral all over the country, because it will be coming next to your state if it isn't somehow stopped. We all have a stake in this. This is bloomberg's influence .. taking over the government at the local level and pushing gun control ... sneak it in through the back door because tackling it head on won't work ... and then attempting to silence any dissenting voice .... No way should this be allowed to happen in our country.

I agree. Republicans all across the nation should have this information drilled into their heads day in and day out right up to election day. This is what happens when you become complacent and don't vote ... and some sleazy progressive billionaire quietly moves in and buys your state government.

I live in MO and would like to think that it could never happen here, but you never know.

I can't see it in the southern counties, but Kansas City and St. Louis is a different story.

This would be, and should be challenged in the court.

Seen that coming, the Clinton's have been silencing people for a lot of years and nothing been done about that yet. The cowards don't want opposition plan and simple.

Do you think we should start an internet alert, letting the entire republic know? Oh yeah, it has Bloomberg written all over it, he has a classic Napoleonic Syndrome. The thing is what should we do? They've seen trying to confiscate guns is of no use. Since I don't live in Virginia, I can just think of take the Governor of W. Virginia up on his offer? I know I didn't want to leave my old house and it's just 4 blocks away. I don't know how long it is until you can vote Blackface out. 2021? or was it later?
