Alabama, that rightwing bastion of freedom from reality has just had it's anti-sodomy law struck down for being UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
This presents a real problem for the haters and idiots.
On the one hand, they claim that they know and love the constitution, and on the other hand, they hate and fear gays.
Oh what a conundrum for the brainless, since this ruling came from the republican appeals court in a republican state.
They can't even bitch about the feds interferring.

In Lawrence v. Texas, in 2003, the Supreme Court struck down all laws that prohibit consensual oral and anal sex for adults. It is truly shocking to learn that Alabama was backward enough to be guided by biblical rules from another time.
