In earlier posts I have been castigating and attacking you and your perceived aggressive methods. Having reread some of that, and communicating with you via PM's, I see it was a misunderstanding based on high emotion over the issue of child endangerment as well as heightened rhetoric and mistrust between secular/religious views. I see your passion for helping these children. Through our PM communication I have come to trust now that your efforts are legitimate and loving, as well as effective.

I notice, generalization coming, it is the female of the species who apologize here. I have had to apologize to rumitoid twice, Worried for our children once, slatten once and pre-apologized last evening for being curt. Just an observation.

I too have had big plates of crow to the point of overeating. I probably have a few platefuls to eat. Saying your sorry is hard, but the aftereffects are indescribable. I will never apologize for who I believe in, but I beg forgiveness from all for the way I ofter express myself. I truly believe the long sought peace on the opps may be having a small beginning.

Thank you for the apology which is welcome. However, I think it is partially my fault. I, and others who do what I have been doing helping kids who have been molested, have always referred to ourselves as therapist counselors or therapists. It took me way too long to explain how our groups were organized with the psychologist or psychiatrist supervising the work and the rest of us being sounding boards and friends, often substitute parents or grandparents for the boys to talk to. Most of the kids preferred the therapy dogs to us for the most part, and that's fine. I guess it never dawned on me that anyone would interpret that as my claiming to be a psychologist. So the misunderstanding was also my fault. I am just glad we got that settled and can go on from there.
