Yep I very well could be in that picture as I was stuck in Chaganola at the time this was going on. The strikers had dropped trees into the roads going in and out and were standing up on the hills with machettes if someone tried to remove them. I actually had to go to the Ferreteria and buy a bicycle and bike back up to Puerto Viejo to get out of there. I had been stuck in my hotel room across from the bus station for 3 days and just couldn't stand the tear gas any longer.
