Human Limitations

Our USA Judicial System has come to understand that eyewitness testimony is not overly reliable...
They have found that humans can not differentiate events in many instances...

I believe this understanding of human limitations in differentiating events needs to be used in the Scientific Studies... Specifically of Cosmology...

How we perceive the Universe is thru our human brains and senses, and this limited observation and reasoning must be taken into account when understanding we can never fully comprehend the Universal Nature of Things...

And with this understanding, I believe no Government Funding should be made available to Outer Space inquiries beyond Our Solar System...

There is a difference between witnesses to a crime or car accident but our ears are pretty reliable to words more than the number of gunshots. I agree about our solar system. Until we have our own UFO aircraft fleet just stay home.

Our ears are not more reliable as to the number of gunshots... You may not be old enough to remember, but witnesses at Pres Kennedy's assassination proved that to me in 1963... And over the years, it's been shown that smell and touch aren't too reliable either...

But you're correct about funding space exploration/research...

Then we agree. Reread my words, I said "more than gunshots". I remember the assassination very well by the way and MLK's, and Medgar Evers who lived just a few blocks away. My dad was a fireman, worked for the city commissioner off-duty, and Stennis and Eastland were our Senators. One was a statesman and one was a drunk. I witnessed Eastland fall out of his plane several times as my dad also worked at the old city airport fire department. I got around as a kid and had big ears. The governor, Ross Barnett, was a crook too. He bought a bunch of swampland, cheap, then turned it into a boating/fishing paradise and a reservoir, at taxpayer expense of course.
