Hey everyone,

There are several that follow my earthquake Forecast and know I've been working on a website that will offer real time video updates done by myself, that will allow me to point to earthquakes that the viewer can see along with showing why the earthquake struck, taking viewers on a global walk visually through earthquakes, live forecasting.. As well as majority of my methodology posted, how to forecast earthquakes. Volcano reports with educational links for both earthquakes and volcanoes that I've adobted over the years as best sources for accuracy and tools to forecast. A learning center to have tutorials with quizzes "How to accurately Forecast Earthquakes " and then a subscription page to receive warnings of incoming earthquakes in the region the subscribers live, or where friends and family live.

Here's my problem.

I just intentionally deleted the website I have been toiling on for nearly a year.
Why? Tech is not in my bag of tools and regardless of cross skills it was nothing less than a disaster. I would have been better served having a 10 year old do the work, they get tech.

I'm only aware of fiveer . This is a site that professionals use to sell their services on the side or in some case self employment for a fraction of the price. Using Fiveer you may get a microsoft employee that is a genius or a fresh out of Tech school graduate but like I stated for a fraction of the price.
I'm hoping that asking if any of you know of other services like Fiverr.
Because I'm dead set on having a subscription that will send text or email alerts to specific regions there are specialized skills required to set it up and running correctly. Once set up, it can't fail or send out false alerts.

Is anyone aware of other companies like Fiverr?

P.s.
Anyone on OPP forum (existing members) will receive free , zero cost subscriptions to specific regional alerts with followup links to detailed information of magnitude, location, and forecast strike date.

Thanks in advance,
Jack

Totally not in my wheelhouse. Sorry.

Too many old farts on OPP. Where are the youngsters who are more tech-savvy? Good luck.

Jack, everbridge NIXLE might have something like you are looking for. It's a text notification site our little city uses to send out notifications and allerts to people. www.everbridge.com just a shot in the dark.

Gosh, I wish I did, Jack! An alternative might be hiring a tech college student. I have had luck with that for various projects. Good luck, your project will be a great success. And I'm sure you'll make a name for yourself

We all need help at times, Jack. I'd call some colleges with computer departments and set up some meets with the head guys. Maybe building your site could be a semester or year-long program or they could refer you to people with the expertise you need.

I'd offer them full control or ownership of your site and system after you pass or something. You don't want it to die when you do. They are always looking for grant money projects to work on. You also need to teach your forecasting system to other younger people so it continues.

A university has to be studying earthquakes and volcanos somewhere. You could make a deal that it's free as long as you live and they can sell the data after you pass. See if Google HQ has a bulletin board you can post a help wanted ad on. Some people just love writing code and programming. You just need to find a way to connect. Try high schools that are local too. You never know where a genius is living. A science teacher might be more helpful than a professor.

Maybe a go fund me page might allow you to connect with the right people and get your system up and running. Good luck and hope you succeed big time.

Your reply gave me a great idea , I appreciate the help. Looking at the everbridge site turned on a light bulb. I was over complicating some logistical and mathematical challenges. May have solved reprogramming the notifications/Alerts portion of my challenges.

That was going to be my next help question. What name to call myself?

Earthquake Man.....nope
Earthquake??????

Luckily Fiveer has a ton of creative and for $30-50 I can have a few dozen choices of names that will help brand identify.

Thank's,

It's great having your interest, questions . I will definitely message you when site is ready.
I wanted to offer Opp administration a free link and give (existing opp members) lifetime full website access . Im grateful that Administration on this forum hasn't ask me not to use the forum for Earthquake Forecasting, which is great because it's a great place to let people all over the country better understanding and preparation time.
