I haven't been on OPP all that long and I've tried to make intelligent debate with people. I've been called everything in the book. I've committed some errors and paid with suspension. I corrected my ways. But, in my latest topic, woodguru addressed me as maximuxdips**ticus (close to that anyway). I responded with saying you are...and added the dictionary synonyms for the word "stupid". There was no cursing or unacceptable language involved and it was a very dry comment.
But it has been deleted by the administration with a warning attached to my account. Not the first time for this but I can't see it this time. On top of that, my wife doesn't like me spending so much time arguing about politics.
I have enjoyed meeting most of you, but what have I accomplished on this forum? Nothing.
So, I bid you all adieu. I'll hang around for a few sessions for comments...if any...and then I'll just quietly fade away.

I have quit this site numerous times or created misleading accounts in the hope that "the hounds" of the Right would not tear what I said apart with their trolling hate. For me now it is being detached. Simple: here is what I see and can verify. Insults are childish and the dominant response to Liberals, without any substantive dialog. That big bonfire they keep burning to whoop and dance around at all name calling and disrespect is their common light. People Left and Right are troubled and leave this site.

What they have been doing to president Trump is the most despicable acts I've ever seen. I have to defend the righteous. I have to be brave and won't give up. I have learned much on the OPP... Maximus is an excellent example of one of the many members who has contributed to my education...And not just politically or intellectually...He has on several occasions shown himself to be an excellent individual, worthy of emulating

All you have to do is develop a thick skin and let the ignorant, inane and stupid insults hurled at you by the libbys roll off you like water off a ducks back. We all know the prime liberal insulters on the forum, thus I rarely respond to them. Woodsie is definitely at the top of the list~

Thank you, but I can handle the insults...it's the administration's heavy hand that is so offensive. I've seen it many times. Insults fly from both sides, but lefties seem to get patted, not smacked.
