A few of life's discoveries...

I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it!

My wild oats have all turned into prunes and All Bran. (BadBobby?)

I finally got my head together...now my body is falling apart.

Funny, I don't remember being absent minded.

All reports are in...life is now officially unfair.

If all is not lost, where is it?

It is easier to get older than it is to get wiser.

Some days you're the dog...some days you're the hydrant.

I wish the buck stopped here...I sure could use a few.

Accidents in the back seat caused kids.

Now, kids in the back seat cause accidents.

It's hard to make a comeback when you haven't been anywhere.

The only time the world beats a path to your door is when you're in the bathroom.

If God wanted me to touch my toes, he would have put them on my knees.

When I'm finally holding all the cards, why does everyone decide to play chess?

It's not hard to meet expenses...they're everywhere!

The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth.

These days, I spend a lot of time thinking about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, and then wonder what I'm here after.

Funny, I don't remember being...absent minded.

Thanks for the reminder of how old I am getting or have become.

This was all so true, I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Just laughing!

Look at the bright side, ol' buddy. You're almost two decades short of BB, The Ancient Mariner's age.

Again, Bahmer, on the bright side: "I'm always relieved when someone is delivering a eulogy and I realize I'm listening to it." [quote/GeorgeCarlin]

That is one way of looking at it.

No, what they have is lysdexia, which is much more confusing.

SWMBO

As nouns the difference between dyslexia and lysdexia is that dyslexia is (neurology|pathology) a learning disability in which a person finds it difficult to read and write while lysdexia is (humorously) dyslexia.

SWMBO, since lysdexia is considered a humorous way of describing dyslexia, I agree. Dyslexia has always been, IMO, confusion in reading the order and text of words, letters or any written info. BB & Bahmer's humorous interpretations of the written word are often quite humorous.

Thank you for the enlightening clarification.

I thought that adding a bit of humor would help with the subject. However, I was diagnosed with dyslexia as a child, which in my case was most obvious in my spelling confusion (which I still have) and my odd sentence structure. At 75 I still battle with those problems but have long ago stopped being embarrassed about it. If readers can understand my posts, then that is good enough for me.

Did you know that those of us who are left handed are much more likely to be dyslexic than right handed people are.
Remember though
Those people who are left handed are in their right minds.
