The longstanding U.S. position of never negotiating with terrorists for the release of hostages has been broken, and now the Obama regime admits it has broken the law by releasing five known GITMO terrorists in exchange for the release of U.S. Army Seargeant Bowe Bergdahl on Saturday.
Obama is required by law to notify Congress 30 days prior to the release of prisoners or detainees held at the detention center in Guantanamo.
Due to a near-term opportunity to save Sergeant Bergdahls life, we moved as quickly as possible, an Obama White House official told the Washington Post on the condition of anonymity.
The official told the Post that the Obama administration determined that given these unique and exigent circumstances, such a transfer should go forward notwithstanding the notice requirement.
Obama National Security Adviser Susan Rice, famous for going onto five Sunday talk shows to lie following the Benghazi terrorist attack, claimed on Sunday to ABCs George Stephanopoulos on This Week, that the reason the regime broke the law was:
We had reason to be concerned that this was an urgent and an acute situation, that his life could have been at risk. We did not have 30 days to wait.
Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel made a similar assertion on Sunday stating that Bergdahls safety and health were both in jeopardy, and in particular his health was deteriorating. Hagel said that the 30-day notification requirement was violated essentially to save his life.
However, the BBC reports that Bergdahl was handed to U.S. forces in good health.

Rice says they couldn't wait ok what about bengazie why dident they help with ambassador Stevens and the other three that were killed they told them to stand down I guess that wasent an emergency is was a video they were just protesting my ass this was a situation were they needed help but got nothing obumer did not want his Muslim people to get killed so he sent the 4to there deaths obumer killary ried palosie holder all have blood on there hands they belong in front of a firing squad
