Oh, you mean that 'socialist nation' that doesn't send drugs, slavers and gun runners over the border to wreak havoc and destruction before returning for more? That 'socialist nation'? There is no wall on our northern border because there is no need for one. Canadians wanting to enter the US do so like normal, decent people, by the front door, not sneaking in the back way. Nobody wants to "destroy Mexico", that's a ridiculous notion promulgated by fools and perpetuated by people who cannot think for themselves and simply regurgitate whatever slop they're fed. President Trump has emphasized, many, many times, he has no problem with anyone, Mexican or otherwise, availing themselves of our immigration system to make a better life for themselves and their families. All they need do is come to the front door and enter legally, not sneak in the back way and bring their crimes and harmful substances with them.

Why is this so difficult to get across? President Trump is doing the country and it's neighbors good. Just take a look and take off the dark glasses before you do.

It was certainly on display during the recent Democrat Primary Debates: "[A]s candidate after candidate promised to destroy our borders, give free health care to millions of illegals, and immolate whole job sectors on the altar of climate hysteria, even sympathetic left-wing commentators were covering their eyes at the self-engineered train wreck". The 'Trump super power' in action, apparently.

Securing the border. Not sealing it. Big difference. As I recall, his words "a big, beautiful wall, with a big, beautiful gate". That's not sealing, that's securing. He needs to secure the border to get control of the illicit activities taking place all across the frontier, and it is rampant. Never once did he say a single word about ending trade with or 'destroying' Mexico. In case you haven't noticed, they are one of our largest trading partners. Cutting off trade with them would be akin to cutting off our noses to spite our faces.
