Isaiah chapter 57

Verse 1 and 2
Ronald Reagan, Arnold Murray, John Kennedy, and Martin Luther King are dead. We should feel more sympathy for those still alive than those who die.

Verse 3 - 7

Those that refuse to clean up their act will be dealt with by God.Leftist lobby to destroy this country through government, while Christians just pray. This do nothing, feel good religion where God is praised but ignored accomplishes nothing. Most of speakers completely ignore the prophets.

Verse 8 - 12

God is angry with this nation. We allow people to lead us to Christ, who have never followed Christ themselves. This doesn’t make sense. Jesus didn’t give the great commission to the Pharisees. Friendship with the world is enmity with God. satan uses education, politics, religion, and the economy to get people to steal, kill, and destroy.

Verse 13

This idea is also in Jeremiah 2:27 and 28 and Judges 10:11 - 14. Some believe in a rapture. The word rapture is not in the Kings James bible. It ain;t gonna happen. Believe God before you believe man.

Verse 14 and 15

There is still time. It is not too late. We can humble ourselves, stop killing children, and start listening to our fathers. Read 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Verse 16 - 19

We are all sinners. God has been forgiving sins and pardoning iniquities for thousands of years

Verse 20 and 21

Nobody wins a fight. You will not profit from evildoing. When you plan to hurt others, you only hurt yourself. In our search for happiness, we cause our own misery.
