Do we think Christianity is safe in America? What has this Muslim immigration crisis triggered throughout the world?

The Christian persecution we read about in Scripture and history books is not a thing of the past. It still exists. Today, in the 21st century, we are living in a time when persecution against Christian believers is the highest in modern history. According to Open Doors’ 2019 World Watch List—an in-depth investigative report focusing on global Christian persecution—persecution is increasing at an alarming rate. Research for the List indicates that each day, a staggering 11 Christians are killed for their faith in the top 50 countries ranked on the World Watch List.

1. In North Korea, Christianity is the No. 1 Enemy of the State
If Christians are discovered, not only are they deported to labor camps or even killed on the spot, their families to the fourth generation share their fate as well. Communal worship is non-existent. Daring to meet other Christians for worship is a risky feat that must be done in utmost secrecy. Yet Open Doors estimates the number of Christians in North Korea to be 300,000 strong—believers who are defying the unjust regime and following Jesus.

2. Afghanistan—Where Christianity Is Not Permitted to Exist
Very often, there is only one possible outcome for exposed and caught Christians: death. In Afghanistan converts are considered literally insane to leave Islam. As a result, some may end up in a psychiatric hospital and have their homes destroyed.

3.Christians Are High-Value Targets in Somalia
Additionally, in many rural areas, Islamic militant groups like al-Shabab are de facto rulers who regard Christians with a Muslim background as high-value targets—often killed on the spot when discovered. In recent years, the situation appears to have worsened. Islamic militants have intensified their hunt for people who are Christian and in a position of leadership.
4.Believers in Libya Face Deadly Violence
The level of violence against Christians in Libya is very high, and Christians in Libya are subjected to violent, inhumane and degrading treatment.

5.Christians in Pakistan Live With Open Discrimination and Constant Threat of Mob Attacks
In Pakistan, all Christians suffer from institutionalized discrimination. Occupations seen as low, dirty and derogatory are officially reserved for Christians.

6.Christian Converts in Sudan Targeted for Persecution

7.Christians Imprisoned in Shipping Containers in Eritrea

8.Believers in Yemen Especially Vulnerable in Civil War and Famine

9.Illegal to Convert, Illegal to Preach in Iran

It is plain to see that Islam is already at war with Christianity, wherever they can get away with it. As others have noted, Islam has always planned for this takeover. But what to do before the threat engulfs American Christians, which is already creeping into every facet of our culture and government?

There have been over 300 Muslim attacks between 1979 and 2019. https://en.wikipedia.org wiki/List_of_Islamist_terrorist_attacks

Reams of evidence shows that Islam must be declared an enemy of the state and appropriate measures taken by Congress to isolate and contain this proven threat. Conditional citizenship for American born Muslims is one possibility. (I will outline later what that would entail.) Revoke all green cards for Muslims and issue no more. Student visas are suspended. A ban on Muslim tourists. All mosques and community members under warrant-free surveillance. Police profiling of Middle Easterners standard operating procedure. No licensing of fire arms, pilot licenses, security positions, or sensitive area expertise, such as chemicals and nuclear energy.

Hi rumi,

I've been following those stats for years, but because of the speed and ferocity with which we are now, as a nation, descending into the Abyss, we, as a nation, as they did thousands of years ago, in the great city of Nineveh, need to don our sackcloth and ashes in repentance, with all due haste.

In the New Testament Jesus commended the inhabitants of Nineveh for repenting at the preaching of Jonah, while condemning the Jewish leaders for resisting His own message.

We are facing a Spiritual war, one to be decided in the "heavenlies."

Any decisive victory we achieve over Islam will be realized only through the power of the Biblical God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

At the moment, this nation has nothing to recommend it to God...

When we stop legally murdering our greatest God given gift, our own children, we may be able to face Him as a nation.

When we manage to explain to God why our nation, with which He gifted us, is legally sanctioning the abomination of homosexuality as "Holy Matrimony," we can seek His assistance in defeating Satan's Islamic Qur'an, encroaching Sharia Law, and their bloodthirsty ancient idol whom they worship as Allah.

When the New York Legislature, which just passed a law to allow the legal infanticide of the new born, and a full gallery of spectators stood and wildly applauded, reverse that law, and repent in all humility before the God of Creation, then, as a nation, we may be heard.

Individually, all Christians can:

"Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil's schemes.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world's darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done everything, to stand.

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth fastened around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness arrayed,

and with your feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace.

In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one."
(Ephesians 6:11-16)

Job 29:14
I put on righteousness, and it clothed me; justice was my robe and turban.

Isaiah 11:5
Righteousness will be the belt around His hips, and faithfulness the sash around His waist.

Isaiah 59:17
He put on righteousness like a breastplate, and the helmet of salvation on His head; He put on garments of vengeance and wrapped Himself in a cloak of zeal.

If we fight this only in the physical realm, we may win a few isolated battles, but we will still hit bottom.

My message, doubtlessly, sounds naive, fanatical and hopeless to the majority, who may go their merry way until we, as a nation, realize we are defeated.

I agree. More of Ephesians6:11-16: "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." No practical government action can turn this tide.

Proof of your words is our 200 plus year history, since our meeting of the mind with "Tripoli," when we were in our majority, a Christian, Bible literate people, we have had few Muslim immigrants, and those who managed to be accepted, outwardly at least, conformed to our American values and lifestyle.

There was no talk of honor killings of daughters and wives.

There was certainly no talk of enforcing "Sharia law."

We knew who we were as a people. We knew our God.

Now, our own judges are demanding they be allowed in enmass, from terrorist countries with little or no governments, and no way of vetting them.

We were a country of law and order as ordained by a Godly government.

We, as a people, seem to be hellbent on our own destruction.

When the majority of our citizens were indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and His presence was felt throughout the land, those within Satan's grasp stayed away, or if present kept their heads down low.

"Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." (James 4:7-8)

Satan then told God, "You have made a hedge around him and his house and all that he has on every side" (Job 1:10).

From what Satan said, in this oldest book in the Bible we learn three great truths. God has put a threefold hedge around a godly man: First around him personally, secondly around his family, and thirdly around his finances and his property.

God is a hedge about every child of His who walks in integrity and purity. "He is a shield to those who walk in integrity" (Proverbs 2:7).
"For the Lord God is a sun and shield...no good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly" (Psalm 84:11).
"He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him" (Proverbs 30:5).

Those who are wicked and divided in heart have broken the covenant, and they are defenseless against the principalities and powers of darkness.

The hedge is broken down. And why? Because the people of God were walking in stubborn and willful disobedience to God.

"But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me. So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: and they walked in their own counsels. Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways! I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries" (Psalm 81:11-14).

Is not this the reason why so many Christians are being plundered by Satan? They are not able to stand up against demonic powers and principalities of darkness because God has removed their hedge. They were once His anointed, but now they are under siege by the forces of hell - because they have no godly sorrow for sin left in them.

They refuse to repent and forsake their worldly ways. Disobedience has brought upon them an avalanche of adversity and troubles of all kinds. They hide and justify their sins. True - not all suffering is a result of sin. There is a discipline administered by our just and loving God. Some, like Job, are being tested so they can come forth as pure gold. Yet sin always brings down the hedge.

Everything we, as a country, are experiencing has been experienced by other countries in human history.

Can we not learn from history, for the sake of our children and grandchildren, or shall we continue to repeat it?

This really struck me. Islam and other false religions will ultimately fall when Christ returns. In the meantime history is repeating itself. Our nation is further turning its back on God and we will suffer the consequences
