To me, the unimaginable has been taking place for over two generations of Americans.
Witness:
1. The dumbed down, brain-washed, and biased products of our progressive and liberal school systems throughout the nation, decade by decade!
2. The unprecedented rise of socialistic thought at every turn including many of our Congressmen who should know that socialism inevitably leads to communism, and then totalitarianism, and ultimately failure, with massive loss of life in the long process. A government with elite intellectuals and communist credentials in all positions of power, together with the military in support, would indeed lord it over we peons. A centrally planned economy will inevitably fail to serve its citizens properly, but it will serve the master class superlatively just as it did in the USSR.
3. Our nation has been kept in a continual state of conflict, with the Left attacking virtually all facets of our government, our governing philosophy, our freedoms, our religious preferences, especially for Christianity, and the men and women that support our American way of life. The Constitution is under direct attack daily, piece by piece.
4. This is not what I want my children and grandchildren to inherit. The next two elections will determine our fate, whether we will be forever free, or a member of the slavish class of underlings of a dictatorial and evil government.
5. These truly evil operators have several identifiable traits:
a. Anti-American critiques
b. Anti-Christian efforts
c. Well known techniques for converting a nation to their liking, such as:
1) Cloward-Piven methodology
2) Saul Alinsky schemes
3) Progressivism ideology
4) Socialistic thought
5) Communist objectives
6) Gramsci plans and steps
Over a number of years, Cloward-Piven, Alinsky, and Gramsci developed the Rules for Radicals designed to turn any state into a collective:

1. Healthcare– Control healthcare and you control the people.
2. Poverty – Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.
3. Debt – Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.
4. Gun Control – Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state
5. Welfare – Take control of every aspect of their lives. (Food, Housing, and Income)
6. Education – Take control of what people read and listen to; take control of what children learn in school.

This did not come straight off the top of your head. It took a lot of thought and just plain cognizance of what is happening here. Very educational and even, hopeful, if the general public simply would recognize the facts of our lives, maybe we’d be able to resist the socialism that N. Pelosi and her weird crowd have in store. All this depends on which aspect of the totaltarian Ideology you would prefer to be governed by .A Governmental form of Autocracy such as the Putinisim,or the more Fascist Republican `Good Ole Boy` type of Ideology.Personally, I would prefer the Putinisim governmental type of suppression as oppose to the - made to worship a mortal that expects god like reverence from their subjects; Even though I know he takes shits just like I do.

Thank you for your comment. No, I am not a teacher, but a retired project manager and system engineer. There ate indeed two big threats to us: Collectivism and Islam. and both are working inside our nation to their own ends.

Our system can be made to work if we taught our young and old American values and Christianity. To me, we are fairly far along in socialism since we spend nearly 70% of our revenue on Entitlements already. Without a solid work ethic and a proper morality throughout the citizenry, we will be in grave trouble.

Mann, I don't fear too much for us as I think we'll be gone or too far gone to be concerned but I am fearful for my daughter, 38 and grandkids. I can't comprehend how so many can't see the writing on the wall. Maybe it's the promise of free stuff which rarely anymore materializes. Our system has worked for almost 300 years, around 150 years longer than any other Democratic Republic so we must have been doing something right all of this time. But No, we need to tack, need to take a different approach. Go a different direction because of a minority. A minority that is neither educated in History or in real life experiences. It's all feelings, thinking and reasoning are out the window today and people our age are leading this malarkey.

Mike, I don't have a solution for generations of kids, that have been corrupted by leftist teachers, who will be voting and doing their thing for years to come. The one bright spot seems to be what Trump is about to do against the Deep State. We then have to find someone to follow him in either 2020 or 2024, but the damage to the kids may be mostly permanent.

Negros on welfare,as Bill Clinton told you years ago-that is not the case.13% of the country are Afro American.Contrary to what you think,majority of that are not dependent on any governmental welfare,actually more white people benefit from some form of governmental assistance than blacks,and by virtue of the fact of whites are of the greater populous-ergo they are the greater recipients of some form of governmental assistance.The fact is when Clinton told you that if all the welfare was removed from the budget then,your taxes wouldn't go down one dime.The greatest entitlements this country has to contend with then was social security,and that still is the problem today;now what do you want to do about ole grandma and grandpa,lay them out into a pasture of silent permanency?

Social Security was never an entitlement it was/is payed into by/for grandma and grandpa. It was set up to help those who by some reason were short changed by an economic short fall.

Most dumb Republican politicians (specifically)Paul Ryan ,former speaker of the house referred to it as an entitlement.
I always contended that it wasn't. What they didn't know is that entitlements are things,(some times monetary)you are entitled to free just because you are a citizen of the U.S.- most people that are on social security pay in to it VIA having money taken out of their payroll checks-or sometimes , because this country is supposed to advocate human rights,hence,you are entitled to a benefit because it is the decent humane thing to do.Paul Ryan and the Republicans pursued this gross mischacracterzation of social security to alienate people against it to justify cutting or out right recending it
