Isaiah chapter 54
Verse 1
A sim8lar scripture is in Luke 23:29. Family values have lessened with each passing generation. The best environment in which to raise a child is with married parents Now we are telling children gender can be chosen. One day they will grow up and realize they have been misguided.
Verse 2 and 3
Read Luke 13:23 - 28. The last shall be first and the first last. The last person that should lead you to Christ is one that never followed Christ. Jesus didn’t give the great commision to the Pharisees. If a person has followed Christ, they can lead you to Christ. But if you follow Christ, satan will use everything under his authority to discredit you. God is in control. Whatever reason a person has for not listening to God, is between them and God.
Verse 4 and 5
God is on the side of Christian nations.Capitalism and Christianity go hand in hand. Socialism has a 0% success rate. Stalin killed more Russians than Hitler.Socialism, communism, and Islam are all corrupt and make false promises. Jesus says you know a tree by its fruit. We should look at the end result and not listen to speeches.
Verse 6 - 8
God will not throw out the baby with the bathwater. His anger does not last forever. He has been forgiving sins and pardoning iniquities for thousands of years.
Verse 9 and 10
The rainbow in the sky shows God’s promise in Genesis 9:11 not to destroy the earth by flood. We cannot control the weather, destroy the planet, or colonize another planet or moon. We are just here for the ride. Heaven and earth will pass away, but the bible will never pass away.
Verse 11 - 14
Read Matthew 25:14 - 30, and Luke 19:12 - 27. A little faith produces great results. If we are faithful over a few things, He will give us rule over many things. Our faith should have us build, uplift, and encourage. God doesn’t need any help. We are all one. None of us are closer to God than anyone else. Christianity should make us more loving, forgiving, and accepting. But this is hard to do around baby-killers and perverts. The word of God is meant to be followed, not policed. We shouldn’t point fingers.
Verse 15 and 16
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Psalm 91:7
The wicked may form coalitions, they will soon disappear. God is in control.
Verse 17
North Korea can’t design a car that can drive from China to South Korea. Yet, they want to build a missile that can circumnavigate the planet and blow up America. Russia spent itself into bankruptcy building missiles, preparing for a war that never happened. They wasted their citizens money, and we waste our time worrying about them. Any missile launched at us will be blown up before it gets here.
