Yea but you have to remember that was at a time where a woman wasn't out busting her ass 40 plus hours a week along with her mate to make a living. A new car was $2500 not 30,000 AND $20.OO bought a cart of food. That Democrat federal reserve pretty much took care of our dollar. Matter of fact if you check history you'll find democrats took care of about everything having to do with everything.

Well, I guess I'm the good wife today. My wife has been handicapped for the last 2 years. Can't walk well, has lost her equilibrium, her legs and arms have anthropoid ( She is in physical therapy). I retired ahead of when I wanted to take care of her and the house. I've always been the cook but now I take care of the rest too which isn't so bad as I now have the time. The first year while I was still working it was a true pain as my job was physical and then to come home and do house work was exhausting. I'm not bitching because when you say "I DO" that carries what ever life will throw at you. I don't know how you gals get it all done all the time and at the same time having babies. I'm truly admiring you ladies. Mike

Amen and Amen many men don't understand marriage like you do or until they go through something like you are going through. I went through a similar situation with my wife and I lost her to cancer in 2009. Take care and may God bless you.

LJ, between you and PL and others, I'm in awe. Thanks for the kind words. Wife is now, in addition to her every other day PT, I'm taking her for short walks with her walker on off days. I'm determined to get her better and she has finally quit fighting me on it. Her attitude has improved since we got her in PT. She likes the women who work with her and that has helped a lot. Has helped me too. Again, thanks to you and the others for the kind words and thoughts, I can feel it. Mike
