Is It Really That Difficult?

Larry the Legend Loc: Not hiding in Milton

Sitting at the local bar earlier, just having a quiet snifter and playing a little 'three ball', the women standing next to me start up a conversation::

Woman #1: "Did I just take a bunch of NASA tank tops from the boys section & put them in the girls section? Yes. Yes I did." And she shows them a photo on her phone to prove her bravery as well! Woo-Hoo! Give that girl a effing medal! Uh-oh, here comes 'me too'...

Woman #2: "I want to buy one! Sick of seeing Minnie Mouse etc for my nieces."

No problemo, little sister, help yourself, right? Wrong!

Woman #3: "If there are no sections? Have you ever shopped? If there were no sections, we wouldn't be having this discussion."

Um, okay, yeah, if you say so... I guess. Where did that come from? Wait a second, who said she couldn't cross sections? Hey! (Oh, for crying out loud, it goes right over their heads.)

Woman #1: "But that's the whole point. You're saying there shouldn't be sections then saying you need it in the girl section before you can buy it?"

Ah! Sense! Buy this girl a drink too, and make it a double!

Woman #3: "Then walk across the aisle to the boys section. It's not that hard I did it all the time with my daughter who loved Bob the Builder."

You go girl! What a pathfinder! Yeah! Make it two!

Woman #2: "Good for you. But no. I would rather see it in the girls section-where it belongs. Thanks."

What? Even after all that? She still thinks the people who stock the shelves have some kind of invisible power over her? Really?

And that. ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, friends and countrymen, is why the likes of Nancy Pelosi still have jobs.
