The vote was 24 Dems yea and 17 Pubs nay...
There isn't ONE shred of proof that the Mueller report exonerates the president, as is stated in the report itself - - only Barr's "non-summary summary", issued rapidly and inappropriately, opines THAT.
It seems to me that almost the entire executive branch consists of folks who are only cabable of CON-jobs (double entendre intended).
In the Attorney General confirmation hearings, Barr asserted that he wanted transparency; the prez squawked on news video to RELEASE THE FULL REPORT - - but now that the hundreds of pages have been released from Mueller to Barr, Barr cripples the intent with his own contrived synopsis, tries to get away with making an excuse for major redactions (although there are procedures in place not to do so which have been used in all other special investigations), the prez inaccurately claims exoneration, and the House Judiciary Committee feels forced to authorize subpoenaing the full report.
I cannot comprehend how not one of the 17 Pub members of the committee, who all voted NOT to agree with obtaining the subpoena, are able in good conscience to ignore the will of the people, which is currently running at about 80% favoring the full report being revealed.
PERHAPS IT'S THEIR JOBS THAT THEY COVET, OR REPRISALS FROM THE TRUMPSTER...BUT IT CERTAINLY ISN'T TO REPRESENT THE CITIZENS WHO ELECTED THEM !!!
