I am an old man with time on my hands.
I am above average in intelligence & practical knowledge.
I tend to think that I am as capable as most on this site to render my political views.

I truly believe that we need to take into account what every one has to say in how this nation should be run.
I have lived my personal life in a very conservative way.
For over 50years I was self employed offering a service.
I have investments & other personal wealth.
I can deal with what ever takes place in the marketplace.

I choose to look at political issues in a liberal way.
I feel that the conservatives lack empathy & are overly concerned with taking advantage of others.
It is my feeling that both liberal & conservative issues need to be addressed that achieves a healthy balance.

I feel I under stand these issues as well as or better than most.
I feel it is with people of sound minds that need to set what the balance of both sides of what issues are.

For it is the right side of the issue that knows no boundaries. They leave noting for any one but them self.
We live in a complex world with vast differences & lack a sound way to deal with al those differences effectively

We have reached a point in time where the issues of how things take place are under a lot of stress.
The white race has had a long run in controlling much of what has taken place.
Much of what has been done has caused pain & harshness to others.

As a nation having been run by old white males for a long time.
Are now faced with having to live with many that are tired of what has taken place in the past.
Now we can adapt & help make the changes to make the world a better place for others.
Or try to hang on to what we have & loose some or much of what we have.
It is how we go about helping things change for the better.
THE BETTER WE HELP THE MORE WE SAVE OF WHAT WE HAVE.

The sooner we get with a new plan the better our life can remain.
As a nation we are so divided within our self that we can no longer face the world in a united way.

What can you promise those that would have to fight for what you wish to keep.
How many of your children will you send to war?

All we can do as a nation is cause a lot of pain & damage to others.
We can not win any thing. (Some of us have it all now)
Those that have nothing or very little have it all to fight for.

Now we have a leader who is only dividing us further as a nation.
All in the hope of the white male keeping their role in world leadership.

Now I am an old white male.
I have no death wish or the wish to have it all.
I have what I feel is enough & can get by with less if needed.

We all need to look at the big picture.
Who will win & who will loose?

I say if I can face it al & break even I can not ask for any thing more than that.
So I say to many of you out there you can have it what ever way you want.
I am to old to fight & may not have much to offer in cleaning up the mess that is sure to come.
Just remember that in a war there is a steep price to pay.
Your life of what ever it may cost to pay to have some one fight for you.
The price you may end up paying for some one to fight your war may end up costing your country.

Why to I get so worked up on this issue?
Most of you out there running you lips over how screwed up I am truly need to face what you wish to see.
I can only sit by & if I am alive after all is said & done at most can only say
"I told you so".

So I will end this with wishing you all to take a good look around & take a good measure of what you risk & what you could gain.

Why do stand there & say I am bias?
How am I any mores so than any others on this site?
As I don't see may one the site with an open mind I find it strange that only those with a different view on issues than me bring that up.
I say I it is just because I know that I am speaking to a person with a closed mind most times when I say what I have to say.
As I see it I am not here to educate any one.
I just like to irritate those with a closed mind.
People that have closed their mind to all but the garbage they hold as the truth.

I’d just like to start by saying I appreciate you and while I don’t agree with everything you have to say, you do show thoughtfulness and don’t do the ad hoc sweeping condemnation that comes from certain individuals on here. The part you have here that caught my attention was the part where you were complaining about the country being ran by “old white males”. This seems to be a go to phrase for a growing number of people who would rather use this as the focal point rather than looking at policy stances of the individual regardless of race or sex. I don’t want to say that you yourself feel this way specifically, but since the phrase was included, I wanted to put my two cents in. I seem to remember someone saying something about judging a man (or woman) by the content of their character instead of the color of their skin. I personally try to do that regardless of their political stance and am feeling a little worn out listening to people tell me what they think that I believe based on my assumed gender and or race rather than asking me what I actually believe. We have devolved into a society of people yelling at each other and no one is listening anymore. I’m glad I live way out in the woods where I can go home and it’s quiet. So far. I am in Illinois and they’ll probably start taxing sitting quietly before long.
