What's to understand? The Tea Party has tired of the corruption in the republican party. Republicans do not represent their views. Don't listen to what some of these people say about them. They are not racist bigots. Their only concern is that the government has gotten to big and is getting bigger as we speak. There are too many agencies in the government that do duplicate work. There agencies such as the Dept. of Education that are not needed. States should be doing what the federal government does itself. Too much central power in the federal government has made government too corrupt and deceitful.
I am not a Tea Party person. I only believe as they do. We need a smaller more stream lined government that only does what they are legally allowed to do by the constitution. There are too many lobbyist in Washington spreading around crooked money to corrupt politicians willing to take their money to do their bidding. That's what happens when government grows to the ridiculous size it is now.
When a government becomes to large it dampens economic activity. As you can see over the years as the government has grown the private business market for jobs has shrunk. These are just some of the concerns of the Tea Party. Again please don't listen to these folks that will degrade the Tea Party. They have not even been to a meeting yet they will try and destroy them. How can you despise something if you don't even understand what they believe in?

Most here think the TEA Party is the republican party so its hard to talk to them when they haven't figured out the basics yet.

I had the same reaction. What I've figured is that TPats ran/run on the GOP ticket and it depends on the district political geography.
In some districts they define themselves as Republican.
In others, the campaign is to take the Republican party back from the moderate, establishment candidate.
In a few districts the only strategy is to run as an independent or write-in while threatening to split the Republican candidate votes in order to gain something in return from the GOP.

The TPats are in all-or-nothing. They don't have back up or contingency plans. They are the high stakes gambler. If they loose it all, they still will not accept defeat. As soon as they get big enough, they will probably start their own party since they already spend their PAC funds mainly against other Republicans. However, the growth of the TPats base is uncertain. The Operation American Spring just a few days ago was not a good sign for their movement nor was the event over the rancher that made TPat politicians denounce the guy. It goes back to the government shutdown that TPats supported but did not take the leadership responsibility accountable for their actions. That's what caused Boehner to turn his back on them, directing all Republicans to do the same.

Bottom line, the Tea Party has never aligned themselves with a party. The media and their sheeple are responsible for the assumed aliance. Though I am not a member I follow move on and tpnn. Gotta hear all the hot air out there.
Bottom line is conservatives are classic liberals and liberals have become progressive revisionists. The latter will never stop with the foul language or name calling because..........maturity? Either way it is clearly a one way hiway with them PROGS.

As usual you show how much of a dumb ass you are. They aren't the party of hate they are the party of economic sanity. They threaten the establishment and it is they that through fear are the ones who hate.
