Plausible denial. If they don't go, they can 'plausibly' claim they didn't know. If you don't ask the question, you don't have to acknowledge the answer.

Just as soon as there are only ten days in a year. Can you count to ten?
In the unlikely event you can count to 31, that's how many previous emergency declarations are still in effect since 1979. Here is a list; have someone read it to you and explain the big words.

These are only the ones still in effect. There have been 59 declared since 1979.

So what measures do you suppose said Democrat President (coming to a White House near you as early as January 2021 and not later than January 2025) is likely to take? New Zealand already has "common sense gun control" laws that would make an Illinois or Kalifornia politician wet and soil their panties in envy and yet the TWO Mosque shootings STILL HAPPENED! What makes you think (excuse me, FEEL) that more laws would change anything? Ban private ownership of firearms? How are they gonna enFORCE that? Suppose that they do attempt to confiscate all privately owned firearms. How will that work? They don't even know who owns what! Suppose they mandate that all firearms owners turn in their arms bya certain date. Further, suppose that 97% of gun owners meekly turn their guns. WOW! A FedGov program NINETY SEVEN PER CENT EFFECTIVE! Positively beggars belief, doesn't it? Of course I very much doubt any of the ILLEGAL gun owners would turn in their guns. But EVEN IF they got a 97% compliance rate, that would still leave more gun owners than all the members of the armed forces COMBINED!!! And it would leave the trigger-pullers at something like a FIFTEEN TO ONE DISadvantage. How do ya like THEM apples, AF1?

What the leftist progressive domestic jihadists are hoping to achieve.

They desire to have us like the New Zealand massacre...unarmed sitting ducks.

The state of Ore has or I should say the Oregonian prog jihadists have already begun their all out assault on legal gun owners.

We have the reckless Red Flag Law.

And this year, the halfa bull-dyke Gov of this sickeningly liberal state, has promised to re-visit a bill where any gun that holds more than five rounds is illegal.

She is an Obama subservient. . Kate Brown met with Obama shortly before the set up and murder of Lovoy Finnicum.

Here the ultimate goal is to use a European or Canadian type restrictions on gun owners.

Five shot firearms are for hunters, the hunters in Ore are a huge boost to the state gov coffers.

Otherwise they would try to eliminate guns all together.

This reprobate Gov Brown, is also after ammunition sales, I.D. and background check.

With a limit of 20 rounds week or month, I don't recall exactly.

But yeah, that low life is waging a war on lawful gun owners.

Do you lack the honesty to approach that sector of the U.S.

You are under the influence of stanky bullbiden.

Your hero's Pelosi and Schumer won't even visit the So. border and listen to border Patrol officials about the actual crisis that is growing.

Mostly suicides and black on black shooting.
Guns are a matter of convenience for these people.
So much tidier than broad swords or machetes.
Wouldn't you rather be killed or injured by a gun than a machete?

Precisely. The problem with that scenario is that they forget four basic principles which prevail in any situation where humans live in groups.

1. All governments derive their power - ALL THEIR POWER - from the consent of the governed. Said consent may be withdrawn at the will of the governed. Such consent may be active, tacit or coerced but it is still consent.

2. All compliance is voluntary. Be it to laws, rules, military orders, constitutions or the bylaws of the Tuesday Afternoon Quilting and Literary Society; all compliance is voluntary. The more onerous compliance becomes, the less likely becomes compliance. As I see it, the biggest difference between actual criminals and "law-abiding" citizens is the threshold of onerousness sufficient to induce non-compliance.

3. The ratio of "Indians" to "Chiefs" will always be in favor of the "Indians". The governed have always and WILL always outnumber their would-be rulers - including said "rulers'" minions.

4. As Stalin put it, "Quantity has a quality all its own." A sufficiently large number of sufficiently motivated unarmed surfs can take down an armed and armored knight. They will not do so easily or bloodlessly but they CAN do it.

Finally, while Lincoln was correct in what he said about fooling the people, he should have known that you NEVER need to fool ALL the people ANY of the time. To have your way you only need fool ENOUGH of the people ENOUGH of the time. Would-be rulers who forget these principles have a tendency to wind up on the gallows, or the block or the wall.

I worked for a huge Italian family in So Cal.

One of the sons called a handgun an easy out.

The Constitution specifically empowers the president to repel foreign invasions. It does not empower him or her to suspend the Bill of Rights.
