The Senate controlled by the Democrats would love to block President Trump in buildung the wall/fence but they don't have the power to stop him.

They threaten to block him by the courts but they have no grounds. Only delaying tactic.

Even Congress controlled by the Republicans can not block an executive order unless it is unconstutional. Which it isn't.

Um... No. The Senate is currently controlled by a very slim Republican majority of one. I hope you're right about the 'power'. I have a feeling we're going to find out, amid some impressive fireworks.


Like he said, the ninth circuit will take it up, then he'll lose on appeal, then the Supreme Court will rule in his favor, because they're not into the politics like the lower courts. He has the constitutional right and statutory power to do what he's doing, but there are a lot of judges out there who have no qualms about 'legislating from the bench'.


That's where the fight centers, on whether he has the constitutional authority to declare a national emergency then cobble together $8B to build the wall. He thinks he does, we all hope he does, but there are a lot of politicians in Washington who most assuredly do not want him building that wall. After all this, I hope their motivations are exposed for all to see.
