Vote in the Senate on the Internet Tax this coming week

As of today, 4/20/13, we have a few days before yet another bailout, this one of big retailers like Walmart and Target. It's called the Internet Tax. This tax is also manna from heaven for fiscally irresponsible states such as New York, California and Illinois, in that it gives the Democrat controlled leadership of those states a free screw at the expense of taxpayers. They don't have to take the blame for this one. This is government interference in the free market, by artificially inflating the prices that internet retailers have to charge, to compensate for the tax. This is a freebie for big retailers who will have less incentive to keep their prices in line with the competition, because the competition is being unfairly restrained. I especially urge Georgia voters to contact Senators Isackson (202)224-3643, and Chambliss (202)224-3521, because these Senators are two of the most key votes. and while leaning toward support, are not committed. By the way, I am NOT an internet marketer, but I am sick of lip service given to cutting spending, which never happens, followed by calls for matching tax increases which usually do. This vote is so important to Harry Reid that he bypassed the usual route of committee and is bringing it up for a vote. This is enough to make one suspicious. If you want more of your taxes to be spent in support of incompetent liberal, free spending governments in a few states, and if you want to pay more at local retailers, then by all means tell your Senators to support this legislation. Once more, our fearless legislators are telling us to bend over and try to relax and enjoy it. What we need from these thieves are meaningful tax cuts, not the ineffectual, meant to be harmful political posturing that has passed for spending cuts so far.

Once again, CALL YOUR SENATORS! Let them know that you have had enough of THEIR mismanagement of YOUR money! Do not beg or implore; they are your employees.
