NASA says Saturn's iconic rings are disappearing. Scientists used observations from the Voyager and Cassini spacecraft and telescopes on Earth to determine that Saturn's gravity is pulling the rings toward the planet. Experts say they rain down as icy particles at a rate that could fill an Olympic-sized swimming pool every 30 minutes. NASA now believes the rings will be gone in less than 300 million years, which is relatively short when you consider that the planet is 4 billion years old.
only a minutia of time

NASA says Saturn's iconic rings are disappearing. ... (show quote)

We better run out there and tell those Saturn people to stop burning fossil fuel or their planet will warm up like earth and melt those rings away. They will then lose there natural attraction and people will stop going there on their vacations anymore. That will really effect the finances of Saturn don't you think? That will all have to get another line of work to support all of the little Saturnians.

Well I for one am cancelling my vacation to Saturn. Let's send the greatest salesman of all times, Al Gore, to solve their problem. We can take up a collection and lease a one way rocket for our buddy Al and send him on his way to new challenges and wealth. We could also throw a going away party for him, but only after he leaves.

Naaa, on second thought that would be cruel to the population of Saturn. They never did anything to us; that I know of. These days we can't be sure of anyone as to their being for or against us.

I haven't seen you onboard for some time, ol' feller. Though, I did answer your PM.

All Squids are underprivileged...but, not Marines.

All I've ever gotten from you (after taking all your cash at the table) are worthless IOUs and a hard time on OPP.

There like tooth decay, you know, caries? Actually they are a combo of poor typing skills and bad eyesight so I cant see the squiggly line under the mispelled words from the spell checker. I average around one half to one correct word a minute.

Pafret, IMO, the overall quality of your posts allows for an occasional misspelled word. However, continued association with BB may very well be detrimental to your standing on OPP.

It has done irreparable damage to mine.

I'm still waiting for an invite to go Bass Fishing with BadBobby. From the picture he posted, he catches dinner-sized fish instead of the minnows I see around here. I'm old enough that roughly sixty percent of my peers have bit the dust; who cares about the opinion of forty percent, particularly when they are old farts? Anyone who is niot my peer might as well be a Martian becaue we are that different.

Back around Thanksgiving BadBobby sent me a photio of what he says are your IOU's.
