David Pecker longtime friend and supporter of Donald Trump just did a 180 and threw Trump under the bus. Pecker who heads the National Enquirer, after months of denial turned on his old pal and admitted his organization was used to funnel trump hush money to a playboy model who had an affair with Trump. The enquirer bought her story and her silence with secret money from the Trump campaign. This was not done in an effort to inform Americans about the then candidate but to hide his behavior and true character from voters and silence the young woman. Pecker spilled on Trump in a likely effort to avoid sharing a cell with him.

Of course that is true, but they also paid to hide stories that should have been published. Paying to kill a story is like a bribe.
