Some of the Liberal Socialists on OPP are so slavish in their politics that they have no scruples at all about inventing insulting, spurious depictions of anyone who disagrees. They have the same mentality as soccer fans who riot when their team loses, mindlessly attacking, mob style, like a pack of dull witted animals.

These same people, mostly, are the ones who are on the public dole and fight against any perceived assault on their financial security. They have few if any morals and have no problem with lying and fraud if that might promote their continued welfare handouts.

Then there's those who have a position of authority, however minor, in maintaining and promoting the welfare state. The only difference with the first group is that these people are sucking much more money out of the system, so they're even more immoral and treacherous in their defense of the system.

Trying to talk sense to these leeches only threatens their sense of security and the only way to really deal with them is to allow the system to collapse. Those who've had a work ethic all this time will be far more prepared than the Socialist leeches, who will find themselves laying in gutters with their hands out for alms, as they starve to death.

Exactly. Allow the system to collapse. Give them all the rope that they are greedily grabbing for and allow them to hang themselves. What will be left is the reality of survival of the fittest. And then watch as the parasites devour themselves.

I wonder, the US had a world class work ethic that began in WWII, so how did it degrade so bad after 3 generations? Did some parents relax some rules because it would be a little easier on their kids? Then the next generation relaxed a little more? Now we're to the point that a family is considered trailer trash, if their 5 year old - doesn't have a smartphone and/or tablet.

I'm sorry to have to be the bearer of this new's - but - the baby boomers are responsible for the shift back down the hill.

I had a mynah bird that made better sense. No, babycakes, the LIBERALS get all the credit for that. The baby-boomers are all pushing 70 years old now. That war ended in 1945. 69 years ago and probably half were Conservatives. Okay? Hello? It's a younger crowd now that elected Obama and swells the welfare rolls. Those oldtimers are on Social Security, which they paid into all their lives.

I think that it is the other way around when it comes to arguments. My personal experience justifies the first paragraph except the other way around.

As for having no morals . You could not possibly know a man's morals as you have never walked in his shoes. I strongly feel that lying is morally wrong, and should never be done. But the way it has been taught is that it's okay to lie as long as it's a small little white lie, which is non-conducive towards achieving the truth.

As for the last phrase " who will find themselves laying in gutters with their hands out for alms, as they starve to death" this is just a matter of personal opinion so i'm going to disregard it completely.

I apologize if my tone sounds "snobby" and I understand that on the internet there is a lot of misinterpretations of meaning.

When I stated that I disregard your opinion I meant it from an arguable stand-point, for it is an opinion it cannot be argued as the rest.

The "few if any morals" sounds a lot like you're saying no morals at all. Either way you phrase it you still have the negative connotation that we are not moral people.

I'm not here to make enemies just offer a different perspective.

If you're a Liberal SOCIALIST, then I was lumping you in with the others. If you aren't a Socialist, then I'm not. I see you're brand new on OPP, and the people I wrote this topic about are rabidly aggressive socialists with a totally one-way attitude and no middle ground whatever. They will insult others and make up crazy lies about people whenever it suits them, so perhaps you can understand why I'm quick to respond to anything that sounds negative from someone who says they're a socialist.

Since you're new here, keep an eye out for Glaucon, Rumitoid, Btfkr (yeah, you read it right) and others who are the people I refer to. You may not want to find yourself in their camp.

If you're not in favor of a welfare state, we could even become friends. :P
