I think he wants "open hearings". that way they can't talk about a lot of classified stuff that could hurt him. He wants it out in the open so many things CAN'T be discussed.

Comeys criminal history is on the same level as Mueller, he has a horrible past to hide. I hope he's thwarted in his evasion. We live in a perverted justice system where the treasonous element never sees indictment.

If behind close doors, he will have a harder time hiding many of his misdeeds and possible criminal acts, i.e. classified material which will be easier to expose possibly his criminal past.
