1938 Radio broadcast of Orson Welles' "War of the Worlds"—a realistic dramatization of a Martian invasion of Earth – causes nationwide panic.

1974 Muhammad Ali defeats George Foreman to become world heavyweight boxing champion for the second time at the "Rumble in the Jungle" match.

Heck, BB was around for Noah's voyage...although I'm not sure of the date and/or year.

But, I am sure he was born antediluvian...of or belonging to the time before the Biblical Flood.

Needless to say, BB has been through a lot.

I wouldn't go that far, Bahmer, but I will give him a tip of the hat for his indefatigability/perseverance.

He knows of things that happened before I was even a twinkle in my fathers eye. I was born in 1943 so I am 75 but not even close to the age of badbobby.

My recognizer works like a Swiss watch and a Timex.

I shoulda been a ref, two against one, ppffftt!

Float like a butterfly and sting like a bee.

A TKO is as good as a knockout, win-wise.

Reminds me of that skier on World Wide Sports,

the agony of da-feet!

There's at least a chance he was pi**ing in his pants while listening to the broadcast.
