The first person, a man maybe in his early forties, says about the van completely covered in Right Wing stickers and writing, "Hey, just because he has a Trump bumper sticker does not mean he supports Trump. It means nothing." A man probably in his late 70s is told they got the bomber and he is a Trump fan. He continues to assert that Obama and Hillary mailed those bombs to themselves. A woman maybe in her late twenties is told the bomber was caught and he is a Trump follower. She says she heard it was Bernie Sanders behind the whole thing. Down the rabbit hole does not begin to describe these people. Perfect Halloween picture: they are utterly frightening. Facts smack in their faces...and they are blind loyalist to Der president. Facts are for the weak. Truth is negotiable, or maybe irrelevant. I never got how the German people fell for Hitler: how stupid could they be? Now I know.

If this guy claimed he was a Republican the party would toss him out. It is far more likely that it was a false flag attack than that he was a Republican. Republicans do not commit crimes especially violent crimes. It is totally against what Republicans stand for to even suggest that it is possible.

Anyway the latest info is that he is actually a registered Democrat and was publicly supporting the Democrats as late as 2016. As a convicted felon he cannot in fact be registered as either so I would hold off a little if I were you before making these accusations.

Saying he was a Trump "follower" or Trump "fan" as in your story above is easy to claim but it says nothing factual about who he was or what his mind-set was. From what has been released already he was rather weird, another reason that it is highly doubtful that he was a Republican and he was most definitely not a conservative.

I would take your outrage much more seriously if I had seen similar sentiments expressed at the ANTIFA antics or the OCCUPY antics or any of the left wing shootings over the last several years.

If you want to measure brilliance by the dimmest bulbs on the tree, go ahead, but the only thing you disclose is your own shortsightedness and bias.

As for the German people of the Hitler era, most never "fell for Hitler" but German culture demanded obedience to authority. It hadn't even been a nation for 30 years when Hitler was born. European feudal social rules were still very much in play.

Conservatives can never admit that their sh#t stinks. The guy who shot up the synagogue was a Nationalist. Said he didn't like Trump because he thought he was a globalist. These guys will deny the shooter is conservative because he didn't like Trump. Little do they know that Nationalism is a trait of conservative fascism. Something they love to blame on liberals...

The shooter called himself a nationalist. Nationalists hate Jews, blacks, Hispanics and anyone who doesn't have white skin. Think what you will of Trump--you will no matter what I say--but the shooter is a prime example of what conservatism in the extreme leads to. Something you guys don't seem to have a whole lot of problem with. After all, remember what Trump said after Charlottesville: "You had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people." So was the shooter one of the fine people that Trump was talking about? And oh btw, did you hear that Trump is calling himself a nationalist now?

You need to pick up a history book. Patriots love their country. Nationalism has nothing to do with patriotism.

Hey, I'm not the one with the hate speech and anyone can read a teleprompter. Go to one of Trump rallies or read one of his tweets if you what to know what hate speech sounds like and how your fuhrer really feels...
