In my opinion the worst presidents in order are ,Obama, Carter, Wilson, Bush the younger.Obama socialist, racist, and anti-America ,Carter probably one of the smartest but a poor leader and had bad advisors, Wilson, gave up control of our money,Bush another one world order guy.

The biggest problem I have with W Bush is that he advertised himself as a conservative while practicing, largely, liberal politics. Ted Kennedy's No Child Left Behind and Bush's unfunded Medicare Part D are but two of the great examples - along with his going along with expanding federal government spending.

His role in the financial collapse was actually minimal - the seeds for it were sown long before he got into office and his attempts to divert it was, generously stated feeble.

So, what he wound up doing is giving liberals a club to beat conservatives with based on the false premise that Bush's policies were conservative and therefore the source of our problems. The source of our problems were simply liberal policies practiced by Bush in the name of conservatives - and the public who pay little attention to content and context and much to labels got sucked in big time.

You are right, now all we need to do is find a way to change the message. Problem is that no one is listening anymore, too much free stuff.

Unc - the problem, I fear, is even deeper. Our founding fathers made it clear that the form of self government they left us required an informed electorate. Since the '60's, we've allowed leftist to virtually commandeer our public education system and they used it to indocrtinate and dumb down an awful lot of future voters.
