I’ve now been blocked by Radiance! I certainly didn’t see this coming! I’ve always seen her as very capable of defending her beliefs and a very brave lady, never backing down!

Doc blocking me was no surprise......He blocks anyone that doesn’t treat him like a declared ‘Saint’ or who presents research and scriptures that are in disagreement with one of his Threads! His replies to Protestants/Evangelicals became long, embarrassing, confused rants that displayed uncontrollable anger and bitterness! I sincerely hope that someday he will realize that his hate and animosity only hurts himself! Our differences in our beliefs have never been personal nor did we present them in disrespect!

Radiance opened a thread, “Protestants are not Part of Christ” Did she not expect to debate Protestants/Evangelicals!?

My dear Radiance! I never called you arrogant, a lost soul, nor did I tell you to ‘don’t take them to my face’ ( whatever that means??) , nor did I hint that you were out of your mind!! You continually claim that you don’t judge and even quote the scripture, all the while claiming that we must be a Catholic to be saved, or that we are soulless, or that Protestants are part of Christ, etc. etc. etc.! I have only treated you with respect and never resorted to slinging mud and calling you childish names! Everything I stated I backed up with scripture!!!!! You and Doc are NOT strong in your faith if you have to run and hide when presented with research and scripture! IMHO!

Unlike you, God gave me a brain and he intended me to use it, And I DO! I do not let anyone tell me who or what to believe! When I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior, the Holy Spirit was immediately given to reside in me until I take my last breath. He is my counselor, my helper, he gives me strength, he comforts me, he also helps me to interpret scriptures! The Bible was written by God through men! You have never defended anything that you continually PARROT! You can’t defend the one and only verse that the complete existence of the Catholic Church is built on! That is why you blocked me !

Billy Graham never preached faith plus works for salvation! To make sure I was right, I went to his web site and copied the above statements from it!

The Catholic Church is not the only Church that gives to charity! All Churches have their own causes that they contribute to. There are many Baptist Missionaries along with many other denominations! Just think of what your Church could do with all that ‘hoarded’ wealth at the Vatican! The Lord told the business man to sell everything and give to the poor and to follow Him! What do you think God will think about all the wealth that the Vatican could share with the many poor Catholics all over the world!

The other thing that is so oddis that their hero the apostle Peter after he gave that convicted remark that "Jesus is the Christ the Son of the living God" is that a short time after that statement while Jesus was being trid Peter denied knowing Jesus three times in court outside where they were questioning Jesus. That does not sound like the individual that is that much of a leader at least at that point in his life. I realize that peter did go out and confess his sins and prayed for forgiveness but again it was his statement that was the rock that the Lord was going to build his kingdom on not the the little throwing pebble Peter.

I didn’t know that the complete existence of the Catholic Church depends on that one verse until Doc and Radiance kept repeating it! How in the world a person couldn’t study that verse and the verses before and after, and not question their interpretation is beyond me! Of course, if you’re not allowed to question the Church’s authority, I guess you’ll believe anything. I guess the old saying, “you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink” doesn’t apply to a Catholic! The Catholic would ‘drink’! Catholics will be on my prayer list for now on! I’ve had some very good friends that were Catholics!

Jesus said "It is written" and Satan fleed. God says his "word does not come back void".
When confronted with scripture, empirical evidence and historical facts false teachings, counterfeit teachings and those that defend them they cannot be rational after examination of scripture and evidence, yet still defend proven lies or they skip past any examination presented resorting in a blind defense served in emotions, again not rational.
False teachings of the Roman Catholic church are a combination of the invention of man and demonic inspiration, however most can lay at the stronghold of Satan creating a counterfeit Christianity.
In arguing the gospel of salvation that our Lord himself made clear, Paul made clear, Mathew, Mark, Luke and John made clear Peter , any observer reading your statements and Doc110 or Radiance3's replies can see the mean spirited replies and personal insults given by them. They also can see an absence of intellectual replies to your scripture or empirical evidence.
There are strong demonic forces on these two and I suggest prayer is sufficient, stepping back from arguing while standing on God's promise his "word will not come back void".
They that reject God's word for another God, another salvation are without excuse at the final judgment.
"Judge not lest yet be judged" is one of the most used out of context scriptures in the Bible.
We are to test all things by scripture to know if they be true (preaching) and Paul made it crystal clear that any gospel of salvation other than what he preached was false and those preaching be accursed (unless they seek forgiveness).
Has Doc110 or Radiance3 preached another gospel? Then scripture judges them.

One problem that Evangelicals that have departed the faith, and those following false teachings is the simplicity of the gospel. It's to simple, there must be more....
It is what scripture says it is... Simple.

The only Catholics that i know personally that left that church wanted to do more so they signed up for a bible study and that is where there eyes were opened. They never did tell me where the bible study was but I am thinking it was probably at a protestant church. However after a number of years they have left that church and are now worshipping on Saturday and trying to follow the Torah.

Doc110 once asked the question, “‘Salvation’ is a difficult complex subject, don’t you agree?”

I answered emphatically...NO, IT’S NOT DOC…IT’S AS SIMPLE AS ABC…and immediately got blocked!

It is so simple that a child can understand and receive this wonderful gift. This is how to be saved, it is simply child-like, as simple as ABC.

A: Admit that you are a sinner
This is where that godly sorrow leads to genuine repentance for sinning against a righteous God and there is a change of heart. We change our mind and God changes our hearts and regenerates us from the inside out.

Romans 3:10 – As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one."
Romans 3:23 – For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

We are all born sinners which is why we must be born spiritually in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Romans 6:23 – For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The bad news is that the wages of sin is death. In other words, our sin means that we have been given a death sentence. We have the death penalty hanging over our heads. That's the bad news. But here's the good news. The good news is that the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ephesians 2:8-9 – For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

B: Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and that God raised Jesus from the dead
This is trusting with all of your heart that Jesus Christ is who he said he was.

Romans 10:9-10 – That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

C: Call upon the name of the Lord
Every single person who ever lived since Adam will one day bend their knee and confess with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, the Lord of lords and the King of kings.

Romans 14:11 – For it is written: "As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God."

Don't wait until later – do this now.

Romans 10:13 – For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

But humanity rejects this simplicity outright. They mock and belittle the sacrifice of Jesus upon the cross. They refuse to believe that salvation rests solely in the work of God in the hearts of men. They refuse to submit their lives to the Lord and live according to His Word. Many today seek to develop a religion that pleases the flesh. This should come as no surprise to us. The Scriptures warn of such rebellion and rejection.

I’ve certainly learned some very ‘dark’ surprising things in the last couple of months in this section of OPP! I can understand why many that study prophecy believe that the False Profit is a Pope! So many people are in danger believing this false doctrine. All we can do is present the truth using the Bible and the very words of Jesus Christ!

I was thinking this morning as I got up that whenever the early Catholic church of Rome conquered a pagan area it was the Roman Catholic Church that became converted to the pagan customs and not the other way around. That is how we got Christmas and Easter and heaven knows how many other holidays. It was also the pagans that had many gods one for each time of the year and one for fertility and so on. Now the Roman Catholic Church prays to Mary and all of their saints so again it is the Catholic Church that left Christendom and followed after the pagans not the other way around.

That's it brother, and the thief on the cross, the woman that touched the robe of Jesus are examples God gave us in his word to the redeeming power of faith.

The pride of Doc110 and Radiance3 not wanting or willing to be wrong. "Pride comes before the fall". Refusing to read yours and others replies that lead to repentance of false teachings is pride and dark influences.
