To a point, I agree with her. But, when she went off and said he is the reason we are free.... she needs to tell that to the other prisoners at Hanoi Hilton.... and while she is at it, there were many fine men who shed blood and many more who made the ultimate sacrifice. I hope all who are immortalizing him on social media took the time to tell him what a swell hero he was while alive.... we have known that he would soon pass away from July of last year. Plenty of time to send him a card, tweet, or a letter. So, you heard the worst thing I will say about a dead man. He lived, he became what he wanted to be, and now he is gone. Good-by Mr. McCain and I wish your family well.

As I've said before, I don't besmirch any veteran's service without proof. Especially a POW. More especially a POW that refused to be released out of order.
McCain was as bad as any Republican I can think of as a Senator, but that doesn't undo his service.
"Songbird" conspiracies fly without proof. That said if he was broken by torture, I'm proud of his service just the same, and God bless him for enduring that torture.
