Thank you for that but wasn't that plane fairly expensive. Oh well everything else is speculative having not been there. I mean don't they have boxes to bury people at sea?

As I recall, the body could not be easily extracted due to the damage of the plane. I suppose everything has to be prioritized. Was there time, in view of the circumstances of being in a war zone, or was it more reasonable and productive to do what they did?

I think they usually wrap them in canvas and then chains to weight them down for a burial at sea. I've got a friend who has already got his burial at sea planned when he passes. That's okay, I've got my plot in the ground paid for and the head stone is already set and the funeral paid for. When I'm gone all they have to do is get me to the funeral home.
