Immigration is the concept of people being INVITED to come to America, people who celebrate the concepts that make America a good and successful country where people who learn the language, validate the customs , and want to live by the laws of the country. They are also people who want to support themselves by their work ethic, not by the forced handouts of others. The illegal aliens are not immigrants they are criminals who have invaded a country that does not want them there. Unfortunately you do not understand the difference , or you prefer to destroy other cultures rather than attempt to work and earn your way in the society.

2nd I know we’re all immigrants in the beginning sorta’ but I’m 3rd generation Sicilian on one side and we all assimilated.
All my ancestors on my Grandfathers side all fought in every war since the Whiskey Rebellion and some survived to pass down all the data to me, 40 volumes of family tree going back to the settlers.
