What happens to the integrity of your post when someone can change it

Even if one word has been changed in your own post it is stealing from your intellectual integrity, and this is what has happened to me. When I posted common core and it was rewritten as ...common whore, who has the access to do this? is it the administration? This isn't amusing and very serious.

That's been going on here off, and on since I've been around.

I haven't seen this but I am experiencing a lot of pulled posts on the grounds that Admin thinks the reference links are dead. I check every link in the preview mode to assure this isn't the case but the post gets pulled anyway.

Really! WTF, I never imagine what some people are willing do in their own lack of integrity.

Just part of the game, Morgan. Some folks just play differently. I saw that you figured it out too. I know how, but have never done it.

WOW I haven't heard that either, on the merit of it dead? If you want to resurrect a post because it may still be pertinent, why would they stop you?

This accessibility to change one's original post should be for lack of a better word illegal, seems to me it is a form of plagiarism and slander, to falsify what someone actually said.

Sounds like hunting to me,(no offense intended) only one party knows they're in it. Hence deer in the headlights. Never saw this as a game but efforts of exchange, is there ever a bottom line for some?

Try and not to blame everything you don't like on Liberals, The administration is from a Republic, and not ours.

It is the worst form of vilification, the alteration of your text to something which could be damaging to you, particularly since you have no recourse. There is no record kept of alterations to a post or who did them, so the onus of what ends up printed is yours. I would say that if you find your work has been changed that you demand Admin pull the post immediately and at the same time make a major stink documenting the alteration in another post.

One has to wonder if any post is safe because someone intent on malicious actions couild go back and change posts from long ago. I don't know of anyone who keeps copies of all of their deathless prose other than the machine and if the machine is not safeguarded then it is time to stop using it.

Well Vern, were there any discussion of the thoughts I present, I would be happy to engage in discourse. When I read a well reasoned and documented article about current events or universal truisms I have no compulsion, which says "I can do better", so I won't repost this. These are authors who have much to say and say it well. I have only one limited life so the scope and variety of the topics that I can create would be extremely truncated. I believe it is better to repost the work of thinkers, who make cogent arguments for their case, than to gin up some poorly researched half-wit opinion.

I read the articles, matter of fact I read all of the articles I post, otherwise, I have no idea if I agree with or want to post certain opinions. Why paraphrase the article when it speaks for itself, usually in excellent English? Should you find that "other people's thoughts" are anathema to you, feel free to read someone else's posts. Fill your empty head with comments about Democraps, Repukes and hatred of Blacks, Whites, Browns, Chinese, Indians, both ours and theirs, because that is the level of discourse on this forum for the majority of posts, especially those with high reader responses.

I've never seen it done with what I would consider malicious intent, but more of a stab at bad humor.
That's just my take on it. I could be wrong. I was once before. A long, long time ago.

They need to change the quote reply box to not include the post you're replying to, that's where it can be altered. here I'll give you an example in your post. Read your quote.
