That was happened here in the bay area for sure but not in red states. In those stats Trump would say punch that guy in the face I'll pay your court cost. And that was the reason when he showed up in the Bay area a lot of protestors showed up to pitch a bitch at the most divisive SOB candidate in our history

That happened in Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan that I know of. I live in northern Illinois. That's why I know because I got local news and heard stories personally. One in Chicago was particularly bad and MSM covered it in their own inimitable style calling then candidate Trump "divisive". You know what? Here's the problem. Prez Trump talked about the things the reigning elites wanted kept under wraps. He drove the entire election cycle narrative. He brought the peoples' issues to the fore instead of talking points and approved narratives. He gave people hope that things could be turned around. So yes, he gained incredible support. Why? Because it gave people hope that perhaps our country wasn't doomed to be completely hijacked by the lunatics who created the PC culture, the gender wars and confusion, the war on police and the Muslim invasion, to name a few. Not to mention the increasingly unsustainable welfare state. I am amazed that most people don't look beyond what they hear on the news at what was and is happening in their towns, counties and states. We just had a protest here in Chicago this weekend. Actually a few. And do you know what the average person thinks of all these protesters? Who get all this media coverage? Mostly they think "Oh good grief shut up. Are they done yet? Need to avoid that part of town". The dems have always had luck in getting their way with riots. (Which are what these "protests" mostly turn into.) It's not working anymore. The average person is sick of hearing the left whine. And scream. And destroy property. And block traffic. And attack people who dare to wear anything that doesn't demonize conservatives. So yeah. More and more people are where I am with the lunacy of the left trying to regain traction for their goofy, made up issues. Blah, blah blah b.s. b.s. b.s.

We didn't hear anything about fake crap until Trump threw his hat In the ring and since then you guys have swallowed his crap hook line and sinker. You should pray the walls are closing in on him and the noose is tightening.

The only ones i see with walls closing in and nooses tightening it the Obama cartel and the Clinton Mafia.

Both are doing their best to get rid of the threat President Trump imposed upon their freedom and lives.

I started out a Democrat the party of my parents, switched to Republican party while still ignorant uneducated and naïve. Wasted 30 years loyally supporting Republicans even though I kept getting bad vibes. Finally threw in the towel only to discover the Democratic party of my parents was no longer that party but was being managed by people who would be considered 1960's type Republicans. My parents type of Democrats had become a minor wing

That is why I am registered as an independent I don't vote party lines, I vote for who I feel is the best, more honest loyal American regardless of the party affiliation. It takes a lot or research but it's worth it.

Somebody needs to hold the reactionaries back from further damaging the US but it might be too late we are 40 yers down the road of the rise of movement conservatism and the inequality of wealth is as bad as 1920's America

Now that is interesting. Why should someone who works hard, saves and invest wisely give the fruits of their labor to someone who drags around, blows his money on booze and/or drugs then expect the wise man to share the fruits of their labor with the lazy, drunk POS.

Most people know of the great depression but few are aware of the great compression. In the 1930's as today, a key line of conservative defense against demands to do something about inequality was the claim that nothing could be done---that is the claim-- that no policies can appreciably raise the share of national income going to families, without wrecking the economy yet somehow Franklin D Roosevelt and Harry Truman managed to preside over a dramatic downward redistribution of income and wealth that made Americans far more equal than before--and not only did not wreck the economy but set the stage for a generation long economic boom.
Most people know of the great depression but few a... (show quote)

The depression of the 1930's was caused by greedy investors causing the stock market to crash.

Grandpaw didn't like banks or paper money he kept his gold and silver just like his ancestors before him did. They worked hard and saved their money. Investing only in the tree farm.

The family tree farm suffered loss of sales but did not lose our money in the stock market crash either. The farm has never had a lien on it since it was acquired in 1802. They worked hard and saved. In the late 1950's & early 1960's sales began declining from several markets. Our trees are long leaf pines from the original trees of 1802.

Up to the 1950's the seeds and seedlings sold so fast we couldn't keep up with demands. Long leaf pines are high in producing sap that Florida turpentine harvesters wanted and planted. Once the turpentine market was replaced by synthetics the marked was almost gone.

The lumber industry wanted fast growing trees for lumber and the long leaf pines are slow growing trees. They are great for piling, light and telephone poles but that market is almost gone also.

Grandpaw tried the cattle buisness for a while but the buyers kept the prices so low you barely broke even. He planted about 40 acres in Christmas trees and that project still thrives today. Select trees for seeds was a very wise move also.

Sales of short leaf pines seedlings, Christmas trees and harvesting the dead or damaged long leaf pines still keep the place prosperous. I am considered a tight was because I am a non drinker love fine Cuban cigars (They are very expensive because they are not bought directly from Cuba so as not to violate the laws.😁)

Well it's almost 04:30 hours and everyone will be getting up soon i am on my third cup of coffee and cigarette. Mother nurse will be coming downstairs with her pills and darn dull needles and we can go our on the eastern porch and watch God's beautiful sunrise and breathe the sweet smell of the tall pines trees as the wind blows gently through them. Heaven on earth. Later my friends.

No it is not. It is simply for identification just like a bank or store ask for identification when you pay for YOUR grocerys by check.

The socialists democrats are against it because they will lose millions of illegal aliens votes and all tombstone votes.

Finger print ID's are coming just wait and see. Then you can't loose or forget or have your ID STOLD.

Better a donkey than a pig

A donkey or ASS, I understand and is appropriate for the Socialists Democrat party.

What party does the pig represent? Obama? I understand the white house living quarters resembled a pig pen when the Obama cartel lived there.

The Republican party is represented by an elephant because it NEVER forgets a wrong done to it.

Good morning debeda you are up mighty early this fine morning.

I am setting in the eastern porch with my faithful cat "little man" my junk yard cat, a lean mean fighting MACHINE. An ALPHA male for sure.

Mother nurse actually let me have a nice fine Cuban cigar "because I have been a good little boy and grinned when she gave me a shot earlier."

God's beautiful sunrise will soon be peeping through the tall pine trees with the fresh undiluted cool breeze. This is surely heaven here on earth. The still peacful quiet of the gentle breezes.

Soon the squirrels will begin chattering back and forth and the bird will Benin taking wing in search of bugs, crickets and or grasshoppers for breakfast and to feed their chicks.

Hope you have a great day also. Later my friend.
