Somehow, forgive me, but I don't believe you did read it. If you did before making your first post, you are one heck of a fast reader.

Not terrifically difficult reading...how long did it take you?

Of course, Jeb Bush is part of the establishment elites and therefore is part of the problem. I won't vote for him or any other establishment elite.

Not a question of morals, but since you brought it up, you do know what one of the major reasons was for the Civil War, right?

neither will I since Jeb Bush is more emotion than law which we know where that takes you. Further the Slavery issue was a late comer to the civil war and became an issue after the civil war commenced.....read and learn!

Legal or not this government will not relinquish power. While it is a wonderful thought, unless the states are ready for and capable of wining a civil war, it's not doable.

As weak as America has become, I think our enemies would love to see a civil war.

Yup...and America's greatest enemies, the .01 % of the Republican party that leads the other 99.09% by their noses, will turn a profit.

Agreed. We will be destroyed from the inside. No need to invade.

With all fifty states offering petitions to the central government to leave the Union, the legality of secession is now front page news in the United States. Can a state legally secede from the Union? Many, including Supreme Court justices Antonin Scalia, and Supreme Court Chief Justice Salmon P. Chase suggest no……….but…….there’s more.

One main reason Jefferson Davis was never brought to trial was because the Government feared losing. They felt the right of secession would have been upheld making the U S the aggressor in the war that followed.
Now we are led by a president sworn to uphold the Constitution who disregards it. That alone is grounds for secession.

Absolutely! And we see it happening every day that a politician opens his mouth for someone to record the babbling coming from it......especially from the left as the left dominates media, politics, and education jobs.

I was trying to be kind to poor, deluded Tasine...so I just referred to "reading fiction", hoping he'd figure it out... :-P

You are looking down a one way street. Yes; the republican establishment is guilty, as is the democratic establishment. They are both guilty of getting power over the people at any cost.

True enough, both are politicial parties, so saying that both "teams" are guilty of getting power over the people, at any cost, is to but repeat ourselves...but I'm also thinking of the magnitude of the scam.

If the Democrat party had tried to use such a simplistic plan, the party members would've catch on with a few days...the Republicans, for the most part, haven't yet understood what happened in 2008 and 2012, most of them really thought McCain (who might've gotten elected, until the GOP braintrust saddled him with Caribou Barbie) and, later, Romney would win!

Never belonged to either party (or any other), so I'm just pointing out the obvious to the oblivious (which seems to make said oblivious sorts rather angry at times).

What did you find in it that is not true and by whose authority is it not true. Don't just say it isn't true - tell me what is not true.

They should have hung all the confederate leaders as the allies did to the Third Reich leaders. Then we wouldn't be listening to all this treasonous civil war 2.0 drivel. As a bonus we wouldn't have ever had to hear the singing of "Dixie" again or have the confederate battle flag contributing to visual pollution. In Germany it's illegal to fly the swastika.

It was a mistake not to hang Jefferson Davis and Robert E. Lee, southern "culture" aside.
