So now we know why they needed a back hoe. To gather up the cows they were shooting.

"The latest hotbed I have witnessed is the Bureau of Land Management attack on a cattle farmer in Clark County, Nevada owned by Cliven Bundy. The BLM has so far stolen over 500 cattle from Bundy on the grounds that the federal government owns the land his family has been using for grazing pasture for generations. The confiscation was implemented under the auspices of “protection for endangered species”. The species in this instance being a desert tortoise.

The methods used by the BLM resemble a militant raid, with hundreds of agents, helicopters, and even snipers at their disposal. Adding insult to injury and making the issue a national concern, the feds have also staged “First Amendment Zones” miles away from their activities to keep protestors away.

This may seem like a minor event, a tiff over cattle grazing or possibly property rights, but there is much more going on here.

Tyranny leaves lasting scars, and each tyrannical act results in an accumulation of wounds on the public psyche that do not heal. In the end, a single event can become a trigger to unleash a torrent of rage pent up in a population for years or decades. The fight for Cliven Bundy's farm has the potential to become such a trigger.

So far, federal abuses have been primarily toward Bundy's cattle, with confiscation ongoing and suspicions that a number of the cows are being killed. Here, protestors try to stop a truck from leaving the area which they believed might be carrying dead animals. Agents respond with dogs and tasers.

However, I believe that if this situation escalates into a Waco or Ruby Ridge brand of event, not only Liberty Movement residents of Nevada, but Liberty Movement champions across the nation will indeed finally throw down the gauntlet. What does that mean? It means they are going to start shooting. Opposing groups can debate whether this is a good thing or a bad thing, but the reality is that one way or another, it is going to happen.

Discussions within the movement are far from apathetic. Hundreds of thousands if not millions of eyes are watching every move of the BLM right now, and they should be taking this fact very seriously.

The naysayers will claim that we don't have the will to take action. They are welcome to think whatever they like. But mark my words, Constitutionally minded Americans are not going to stand by and watch another massacre, nor a loss of gun rights, nor will we be entertaining violations of our freedoms for much longer. This society is on the edge of something. It's kinetic, or electric. It is not yet quite visible but it is there, reverberating in the atmosphere. My suggestion to our federal bureaucracy would be to do what they did during the gun debate, and quickly back away.

Of course, we all know they won't.

Do the elites want to stir up insurgency in order to give pretense for a larger crackdown? They very well might. But it is transparent in the way they try to mitigate dissent and offer placation that they do not want a rebellion larger than they can manage. I think it is far too late for that. I think they've pissed off too many people, instead of just enough people. I think that though most pretend-Americans will do nothing but watch in horror or hide in their hovels, the size of resistance to the tides of despotism is growing far beyond common realizations. And, when this resistance erupts, it will shock even those who fully expect it."

I think that the plan is to keep causing these "enforcements" to enrage the population to cause an eruption. I think Obama wants to declare marshal law by enraging the population. If he declares Marshall Law, he can suspend elections and not lose control of the Senate for a while.
I also think he wants to start a race war within the country and that would be another reason for Marshal Law. He started the ball rolling with his speech at Al Sharpton's thing yesterday.
I know all the Libertards will post all kinds of name calling B.S. for this post, but who cares what those idiots think anyway.

I think you are exactly right, Patty.

Obama is still laboring under the mistaken belief that he is invincible.

Everything his government has said and done for weeks seems calculated to enrage all those in the U.S. who are still capable of thinking for themselves.

He has no clue how Americans think or feel, having never been one.

I believe he thinks he needs an excuse to take total military control of the U.S.

Just as the Japanese Commander stated they had done, after the Pearl Harbor attack, Obama will awaken a sleeping giant.

If I could, I'd go to Nevada to symbolically say to the government, "You are wrong," and to literally say to Cliven Bundy, "You are right."

Here's the problem. The Gov. is run by lawyers. Each bureau, Department and agency has a team of lawyers. Even the Attorney General , has a lawyer. The President, has a lawyer - every one has a lawyer - on salary - except the bulk of the American populace. Go to court, and it's judge - is a lawyer. The Supreme Court is staffed - by lawyers. Any way you slice it - lawyers are anathema to justice.

The whole thing is about Harry Reids family making money from a Chinese solar energy project that is planned for the area. Good to have our government agencies and our tax dollars being used to make politicians richer.

"Back in 2012, the New American reported that Harry Reid’s son, Rory Reid, was the chief representative for a Chinese energy firm planning to build a $5-billion solar plant on public land in Laughlin, Nevada.

And journalist Marcus Stern with Reuters also reported that Sen. Reid was heavily involved in the deal as well.

“[Reid] and his oldest son, Rory, are both involved in an effort by a Chinese energy giant, ENN Energy Group, to build a $5 billion solar farm and panel manufacturing plant in the southern Nevada desert,” he wrote. “Reid has been one of the project’s most prominent advocates, helping recruit the company during a 2011 trip to China and applying his political muscle on behalf of the project in Nevada.”

“His son, a lawyer with a prominent Las Vegas firm that is representing ENN, helped it locate a 9,000-acre (3,600-hectare) desert site that it is buying well below appraised value from Clark County, where Rory Reid formerly chaired the county commission.”

You are absolutely right Patty. Harry Reid is behind this Land Grab along with his oldest son. They have already bought out or run off all the ranchers except this one rancher Bundy who's family has been on this land for over 140 years and wouldn't sell out. According to common law he does not have to pay for grazing rights to the Fed. his family was there and by all rights could claim ownership of the land.
The MSM is trying to show this as a standoff of the militia which is not the case. Most of the "crazy" militia that is shown on MSM is actually being lead by the Fed. operatives that want to show these people as crazies.
Follow the money, it's all about enriching Harry Reids family and they should all be arrested along with Eric holder who is involved as well.

That is my understanding also. The land boundary of the disputed (turtle) area was altered to exclude the area of the Reids project. It is not the first land scandal in which dirty harry has been involved. This is the beginning of the failure of the global socialist experiment. The democratic party used to be for the working man (rancher), now they represent the environmental movement and the power to push, shove, control and destroy any citizen that refuses to OBEY.

So, the plot thickens. Revolution from the crazy right fomented by the New Russia fascism geopolitical operation. See "Operation Gladio" for a comparable geopolitical operation from America and Britain in the early years of the Cold War. There was also a comparable Communist Russia geopolitical operation effort in the 60s and 70s to turn the civil rights movement into a revolutionary movement (the Black Panther movement).

History repeats itself. Wounded Knee. If you are under the impression the government will not fire at unarmed women and children, you are dead wrong.

At wounded knee it was the BIA with full federal support. An innocent man is still serving time for a crime he did not commit. The governments own ballistics report proves the man could not have fired the bullet that killed the fed. He's still in jail.

This is a corrupt government. The rich can do whatever they wish to do to other people. Perhaps, Putin will help this rancher. That would happen before this government would.

You think others don't believe in the constitution? You rightwingnuts are politically crazy because you're extreme and precisely because you don't think, proven by your thinking you're the only ones who believe in the constitution. The actual fact is that you don't know or understand the constitution and in your extremism and extreme stupidity would destroy America. You who think you are true patriots are in fact false traitors to America.

Do you realize the poster of this twisted version of what's happening is a Russian propaganda agent and that you are a dupe to Putin's Russia fascism use of rightwingnuttery to destabilize America? Check out the anti-America pro-Russian posts with some of Patty's Ukraine subject postings, why don't you, so you can see what bad company you're in.
