What keeps those wheels upright? What propels it and how does it work?

It is very interesting from an engineering standpoint. I want to know how does it work.

I don't like motorcycles but this has me interested. I am going to send this to my brother in law.

I didn't see it hit any potholes or speed bumps. The heat from that engine might be a tad warm too! I think it looks cool but over-engineered and not very practical.
