College admission must be based on MERIT system only. In order to allow most talented potentials to be assets of our nation. Using merit system only will make our country number one again in the world stage of education and talent. America will be number one again in the world.

Under Barack Obama, our country has sunk down to the world's lowest level of academic standing. It is due to his affirmative action and equality where dumb bells are on front of the stage where our country had failed. Taxpayer wasted so much money providing dumb bells education that they could not qualify.
They get courses like Black Studies, Afro-American Studies, Ethnic Studies, Mexican Studies, Women's Studies, LGBT Studies. They use financial aids using the taxpayers money. After graduating no one hires them because their knowledge does not suit for the job requirements. Then they sue for discrimination and end up working for McDonalds, While at McDonalds they demand to get $15 to $17/hr hour salary to feed their families. That is the Obama way.

No one is equal. Many are dumb, stupid. Many are also brilliant and hard working. Choose those who are brilliant/smart to get higher education.

Those students who could not qualify for the merit system, must be allowed to get skills suitable to their brains. Then they can also have jobs.

GOOD! Should be hard work and sacrifice that gets anyone into a good school or a good job. That's the only way I know how to get it. I don't want a doctor, lawyer or candlestick maker who got in because of affirmative action with grades at the bottom of the barrel.

Agreed on all points. Affirmative action has screwed up enough people for two and in some cases three generations. God Bless President Trump.

Assuming there were good reasons for affirmative action in its beginning, it is past time to end that program. There is simply no need (if there ever was) for it today, no matter what some black Americans say. Today, we have black Americans in every career field I can think of, from truck drivers to judges. It's time for all Americans to quit playing the victim card and understand, the way to get ahead, to improve one's life is education/training, determination, goals, hard work, no whining, no blaming, personal responsibility, and a good attitude.

The great society worked,so did affirmitive action policies to a certain extinct,keeping in mind that the chief beneficiaries were women,since they were given minority status being as how they were considered to have been discriminated in the academic world as well as in the business world.Realizing this,the `Their gaining on me syndrome" manifested.What America feared worst, Equality !.this contradicts the prevailing aspirational desires of a good deal of white America,white supremacy,white privilege.Circa 1981,commencing with the Reagan administration,it wanted to reverse the equality trend,and roll back the clock,[conservatism,bring back the old ways] Up to a point , the points made in the afforementioned post may have been correct,maybe affirmitive action policies had become obsolete,no longer germane or relevant.But along comes some Neo Nazi,with some genocidal master plan intending on eliminating blacks in America.What you see of them today is vestiges,and remnants of the fruits of this plans works,now thanks to this stroke of genius affirmitive action is necessary more than ever,not only to level the playing field to achieve an equality,but to bring some of those that were left behind, back to a tolerable functional condition for the good of all Amerca.
