Thank you for correcting me on the dates but the meaning still stands. A supreme court decision that today would be wrong was made by the Supreme Court. Therefore the Supreme Court can make errors and is not the end-all-be-all authority.

Some time back, I counted the times the SCOTUS has reversed itself.I came up with 128.

He gave an example (relevant to today) President F.D. Roosevelt inherited a SCOTUS from a conservative Pres. Hoover who made rulings he disagreed with. Pres. Roosevelt asked for a change to our Constitution (Amendment) dealing with the Supreme Court. The SCOTUS started issuing rulings favorable to (he would agree with) Pres. F.D. Roosevelt. You don’t have to elect a judge for that judge to be political. Remember when civil rights for a black population was bad politics? George Wallace ran for President as a Republican? Really? You forgot this!?
You forgot? Please try to remember a few names Mao Tse-tung, Ho Chi Minh, Le Duan, Ton Duc Tha-ng. Remember any of these? How about Joseph Stalin? Legendary Dictators who declare something classified, otherwise national security, so they can keep all the information to themselves. Fascism, Communists, Nazi’s names through history.

The huge Catholic Migration from North Vietnam to South Vietnam, some million people. You forgot this? All the lies I can only tell you what I saw with my own eyes. South Vietnam a few families traveling south to find a city, not the slightest coin between them, hardly clothes. The North VC came to them, literally stole the men, young men (like 13 year olds) including young women, maybe killed a couple people, certainly raped a few women, usually in-front of those who didn’t want to see but it helped with the fear. Think about it! They didn’t have a portable TV, radio among them and nobody wanted them around for several reasons. So these people slept along-side of the road. I watched them while most the time I was in the bush. How did these people stay informed of anything? Guess you didn’t think of that.

I don’t blame all the liars people elect, I blame the people. There are so many liars, including the media, because YOU voted for them, encouraged them. YOU did whatever you could to encourage them, so they lie to you on a common basis. Lying has become “acceptable conduct” to U.S. society. There aren’t enough hours in the day to track-down all the lies, but I do take a few to research.

There is a difference between me and other people (I don’t have pleasant names for) once someone has lied to me, I catch them usually research, I don’t believe them again and certainly do nothing to encourage them. I blame myself too. I voted for this Trump guy and caught him lying many times. Media I call “Entertainment”. Think about it, the attractiveness of the hosts. These so-called TV hosts are not reading news, they are reading a script! One reading told me on this site there are only two political parties money and those without money (close enough). Most people have no idea what this country is about, is easier to blame someone who wrote the Constitution they did something wrong than to take blame or even think. In fact, we have a society of people who put no effort into anything, including easier to blame someone else than to look in the mirror. There is that stupid blame issue, laziness, self-centered, couldn't be me (they say) I'm blameless, it's always someone else, sounds like a kid blaming the purple people eater for knocking the lamp on the floor.

Of course, SCOTUS is political. And today's ruling proves this. The issue before the court was; does POTUS have the authority to Act in accordance with the Constitution (paraphrased) the court's 5/4 ruling clearly announces YES. Just as clear is the reality that 4 Supreme Jurist disagrees with the validity of Our Constitution. Would the 4 Jurist disagree? Do You? You may w/o cost, but they must agree, "the Constitution is fluid" the lesser of the 2 evils. To say otherwise is to admit political posturing, 'we want Socialism'

In support of your despair; for years I've shouted, at times from some very high public platforms, "We Baby-Boomers screwed-up this thing of Our's" This bloated, overreaching civil liberties stealing elected government of our's We created. We funded it and grew it.

As draft dogging, college drop-outs, free love poets We demanded change. No Draft! No War! Big corporations must go! Government is too Big! (even in the sixties) Then one foggy afternoon big brother whispered in our collective ears, *you guys are right*. Change is needed. And we believe You Mr. & Mrs. baby-boomer are the ones to do it.

We will create an agency that will address your grievances and YOU can run it. BTW you'll need 30 staff members, so bring your family. But only those you trust.

And so, blessed with all the wisdom any 18 to 30-year-old would ever need we pulled the flowers from our hair, traded our peace signs for the Flag we had been pissing on, dropped the hand of our black brothers & sisters, gathered our dysfunctional family & friends and marched our dumb, thoroughly seduced, asses straight into the loving arms of the federal government. Over the next 30 plus years, we created such monuments as the Department of Education and immediately began dumbing down our educational standards. We recognized the Interstate Commerce Commision was insufficient and in need of a parent, welcome Department Of Transportation. We insisted on transparency and so, entirely by ignorance, allowed for the creation of special interest groups with whom we traded our influence for bounty.

40 years later and recognizing our time to be short we took advantage of a horrific attack on our citizens and created the largest, most abusive trifecta of federal agencies yet;
DHS, (homeland security) TSA (transportation security admin) ICE (immigration and customs enforcement) all wrapped with a bow of temporary inconvenience, PATRIOT ACT.

Yes SCOTUS is political. Why should it not be? We weaponized everything else.
Though our time is short and our onus burdensome that which we wounded we can heal.
If only We start with the confession of our sins. You have mine. Thanks for listening

Ever known a President from one party, to nominate someone for the bench - from another party? Of course it's political, which is why the Senate held a Supreme court seat open for 17 months, so that a Republican President could fill it - to keep their conservative majority.

Ruth "darth vader" ginsberg doesn't even support our U.S. Constitution. She said she could never recommend our constitution for a country that was just starting up!!. And this hag is a Supreme Court judge?? She should be replaced on the court and have all retirement benefits taken from her! She is a national disgrace and even New Zealand doesn't want her.

YOUR ANSWER HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ISSUE. Typical, use any pretense to espouse your own views. Americans forgot how to listen.

Cripple, certainly your mind is functioning superbly. We have lost a generation in the United States due to an educational public school socialist indoctrination. With mothers out of the home letting bureaucrats raise their kids and an incessant devaluation of our currency's purchasing power, the lessons learned are that hard honest work does not pay off. These kids are ripe for the picking.

Maybe the Internet will level the playing field here. We cannot leave everything up to the Supreme Court to save the nation. Just take a look at our bizarre immigration policies, well defined, being ignored. Obama refused Cuban refugees as he opened up trade with Castro now that we are friends! Meanwhile, our sanctuary cities accept terrorists, anarchist, communist, fascists, neo-nazis, fugitives and criminals: Pashtun Taliban, Iranian Hamas and Hezbollah, al Qaeda, ISIS, the Croatian Utashi, the Ukrainian Bandera gangs, FARC communist rebels, MS13, the Peruvian Shining Path, Mexican gang-bangers, the Russian Mafia, and the oligarch Mikhail Khodorkovsky operating a campaign to oust Putin from the safety of the sanctuary city San Francisco. Pull up Khodorkovsky's website openrussia.org, mimicking George Soros' Open Society Institute. Soros may be nuts, but Khodorkovsky is a very crafty communist and international fugitive wanted for murder.

Of course, we don't hear the full story about this open border nonsense today from the mainstream media. The Supreme Court today made the right ruling backing our President for defending our nation. True asylum seekers can come through our legal border crossings and ports of entry all the time and legally apply for sanctuary status on the spot.

So, what's the beef? This has nothing to do with racism. The illegal Mexican share croppers can easily get a work permit once we start prosecuting their employers. The Democrats want to create so much social turmoil as to topple our government completely. The public is waking up to this nonsense and backing President Trump. If we can keep Trump and a Republican majority in the Senate for 8 years, they can appoint several more constitutionally conservative judges to the Supreme Court. We must use the Internet to beat the One-eyed, One-horned Flying Purple People Eater's monopoly on the truth. Don't despair.

Even though our country is only slightly over one percent Jewish we have four Jewish justices that nearly always vote as a block against American values. If we add another liberal Jew there will be no need for the court to hear cases as the results will be predetermined.

I must wholeheartedly disagree with you, Mr. "Rational1." Would you like to paraphrase Cripple's first post and prove to us just how "rational" you are?

There are many more conservative Jews out there who would do a great job on the Supreme Court. Keep in mind that our Declaration of Independence and Constitution are based upon EXODUS and the end of human slavery. Ginsberg is not your traditional Jew, and seems oblivious to her own heritage. There is the tragedy of liberalism.
