We clearly need to establish a chain of "Ellis Islands" along the Mexican border, where all entrantants, both legal and illegal,

can be detained until they are throughly screended and vetted; there to await the judicial outcome of their asylum applications.

If denied asylum, they should remain at such centers, until returned to the country from which they entered the U.S.!

I must disagree with you on that. Maybe California will build an "Ellis island " type facility in San Diego where applications can be received and approved.

Citizens of California can sponsor an applicant and feed and house the applicant until they can forfill the REQUIREMENTS OF THE LAW ON THE BOOKS. TODAY.

If an immigrant applicant comes up missing the sponcer will be liable for the expense of locating and deporting said sponcered.

This way the tax payers money can help the American poor citizens.

This is true wherever we have an embassy. Certainly in every NAFTA/CAFTA country. Immigration en masse (refugees) is nothing more than propaganda created & maintained by liberals from both sides of the aisle. (see playbook, Carter administration)

WHY? Immigration, especially unfettered immigration, (refugees) for our federal government is a huge profit center. Consider all that is undeniable about immigration: A human being is in reality no different than a commodity. Both are inventoried, inspected, allowed to move forward or held in bond until taxes or the equal is paid or assured. (bonded areas are secure storage areas~detention compounds) "OMG they're coming"! Panic/ Crisis; We need more boots on the ground. And we need to operate "our" inspection/apprehension up to 100 miles inland. (that's 40% of the man/woman power of the CBP) We need detention centers complete with medical facilities & medical professionals, exercise/playgrounds, education/classrooms. Add your own amenities, they all fit the product.

All of this requires funding and therein lies the profit. Political favors. Guaranteed Votes designed to circumvent our established ballot w/o the need of Russian hackers.
