Either Nikki Haley has the best speech writer around or she does a great job for herself. I love it when she tries to make the UN look like what most of us know it is. This link has her speech explaining why the US recently withdrew from the UN Human Rights Council. She talks with such strength that I always enjoy listening to her. I am sure that some of the nations she is talking to and about don't like her but by reading tweet responses you can see why Netanyahu is so happy about this latest US move.

I must say that it appears this move was precipitated by the recent attacks on the US government for the "mistreatment" of "refugees" at our southern border. However, for leaners who won't listen to her whole speech I must remind you that about a year ago the US called on some reform of membership on the Council and no change has been made. In fact, recently the Democratic Republic of Congo was invited in with nothing said about human rights and they are still digging up mass graves there. Anyway, I really got a kick out of Netanyahu tweets and most of you will.

oldroy, The UN Human Rights Council is a bad joke. Among other things, Syria had a leadership role in the council. Nikki Haley was my governor before she was appointed ambassador to the UN. Although I am a liberal, I would vote for her anytime for any office she runs for. She is the best!

Isn't Nikki something. When I listened to this speech I couldn't believe how much she really is what I have thought about her for years.

Nikki Haley has been one of my favorites for years. I would be glad to vote for her for President in 2020 if it came to that. I think she is an outstanding politician and do wonder if she has someone as a speech writer because her speeches are so good and she delivers them so well.

One liberal, admitted, has come out in support of Haley and it seems that all the rest either didn't listen to her speech or just can't stand to think that she is a Trump supporter or something.
