It's near Vega, which is just down the street by Texas standards. I can see the red blinky, blinky lights on the wind turbines over there from my back door.
The lefties should love us. We have those windmills everywhere around here. We just don't like them.

Great part of the country. We really enjoyed Amarillo. The Big Texan Steakhouse serves an above average Ribeye.
Our last day visiting we had a funnel form overhead which was unnerving. We're eyeing that area as a potential business site.
Looking for business sites has been daunting with the Westcoast /Southwest but we're narrowing down to Idaho, Southern Nevada, Northern Arizona, and North Western Texas including the Pan Handel.

Love the sign especially after dual residency in Washington State /Oregon which the liberals destroyed with regulations and bizarre laws. Spent the last year trying to get a business plan manifested in Northern California an absolute gold mine except the city, county, and state we have learned want to punish and penalize new businesses seeking to purchase property and build brick and motar. Idaho was our main target after the liberal school of hard knocks but have turned our sights towards your neck of the woods. Why? Because conservatives haven't destroyed these states like the liberal ones I mentioned and you can count on us if Texas becomes our home and final business destination a portion of our "tax cuts" will be directed to keeping liberals our of power their. To bad Texas can't make it a crime to be liberal in Texas, I'd pack and leave today. Lol
We're headed to the Coeur D 'Alene area in a few weeks and September will be headed to Henderson NV, then the Lake Havasu area of AZ, and last your neck of the woods. See you when we get there.

Big Texan? Pfffffttttt!!!!
When you get down this way, shoot me a PM, and I'll hook you up with a better one!
A little place called the Trail Boss. Just a little dive, but food to die for!
Seriously, if you show up around here, get in touch with me!

I'll definitely do that, look forward to meeting you. I am planning to announce my trip routes and meet a few good genuine folks on OPP.
There just isn't anything like a top shelf steak, and my best experiences have been in a few out of the way dives.

God Bless America
God Bless Israel
God Bless and protect President Trump

That would be too cool!! I've met a couple of OPPers, and it's been a great experience for me. I consider Slatten a good friend. We've had multiple meetings/meals together.
I also met a guy who got expelled from here by the name of Cesspool Jones. Kind of a different duck, but a damn nice guy. We ate calf fries together at the Big Texan, matter of fact.
I'm hoping to get together with 4430 in August at Lake Texoma for some striper fishing too.

Jack, there are a lot of good folks on this forum, on both sides of the argument. My opinion, but I stand by it.

Who is the sign meant for? Any liberals worth their salt would be flying over that sign on their way from one coast to the other. Is there a reason for any liberal to stop in Texas (other than Austin)?

Dang....I do remember the beef rib bbq....that's a good enough reason to stop. LOL.
