A-list Actor Talks God And Prayer In Front Of Vapid Hollywood Clowns
If you weren’t a fan before… you will be now.

Chris Pratt accepted the ‘Our Generation Award’ at the MTV Movie & TV awards, and his speech was unlike the Trump-bashing #Resist tirades that have kept many of us from watching awards shows.

This was completely different.

It was 9 pieces of advice to this generation, and all of it was good.

Taking a cue from Jordan Peterson’s book, ‘12 Rules For Life‘, Pratt had his own, ‘9 Rules From Chris Pratt, Our Generation Award Winner‘.

It was his inclusion of faith that was surprising and refreshing. It wasn’t a ‘Thank You, Jesus, for this award’ moment, but rather, a sincere and heartfelt call to the Truth. And from a Hollywood A-lister, no less!

Watch:

https://youtu.be/EihqXHqxri0

Here are his points in full (Emphasis mine):

“Breathe. If you don’t, you’ll suffocate.”
“You have a soul. Be careful with it.”
“Don’t be a turd. If you’re strong, be a protector, and if you’re smart, be a humble influencer. Strength and intelligence can be weapons and do not wield them against the weak. That makes you a bully. Be bigger than that.”
“When giving a dog medicine, put the medicine in a little hamburger and they won’t even know they’re eating medicine.”
“Doesn’t matter what it is — earn it. A good deed, reach out to someone in pain, be of service; it feels good, and it’s good for your soul.”
“God is real. God loves you, God wants the best for you. Believe that. I do.”
“If you have to poop at a party, but you’re embarrassed because you’re going to stink up the bathroom, just do what I do: lock the door, sit down, get all the pee out first. And then when all the pee’s done, poop, flush, boom. You minimize the amount of time the poop is touching the air, ’cause if you poop first, it takes you longer to pee and then you’re peeing on top of it, stirring up the poop particles that create a cloud and it goes out and everyone in the party will know that you pooped. Just trust me, it’s science.”
“Learn to pray. It’s easy, and it’s so good for your soul.”
“Nobody is perfect. People are gonna tell you that you’re perfect just the way you are — you’re not. You are imperfect. You always will be. But, there is a powerful force that designed you that way. And if you’re willing to accept that, you will have grace. And grace is a gift. And like the freedom that we enjoy in this country that grace was paid for with somebody else’s blood, do not forget it. Don’t take it for granted.”
Chris Pratt just spoke of the reality of the soul and of God as our Creator, and the efficacy of prayer in an acceptance speech. And he snuck it in with advice on how to give medicine to a dog or what to do if you need to poop at a party. The best part was that the audience was applauding him as he spoke.

That guy is awesome!

Remember, this is the same guy who did this with his son:

Chris Pratt is paving the way for unapologetic Christians and outspoken patriots to be free to be themselves in Hollywood.

You da man, bro!

Rules For Radical Christians is not a survival devotional designed to help the young Christian adult limp through life. Rather, it is a road-tested, dominion blueprint that will equip the young adult with leadership skills and sufficient motivation to rise to a place of influence in an overtly non-Christian culture. Rules For Radical Christians gives the reader the keys to become strategically equipped to move into an anti-theistic environment and effectively influence it for the glory of God.

Why be average? It’s so overrated.

Everyone does that.

You need to Do Epic Sh-t.

Although he may be "A-List," I only recall him from Jurassic World (?). But, I will be keeping a closer watch on Mr. Pratt, as he seems to have his head on straight. Thank you for sharing this video. I now know more of the man, and am glad I do.

Isn't he also the guy from those beer commercials where he has to earn being their spokesman

I am not sure about your last comment but I did think that it was an interesting article. I remember back in the 50"s they had all of the actors and actresses that served in the WWII and Korean war and as compared to today it was a vast difference. I am just glad to see one or two actors or actresses stand up for the Lord and maybe even for our Military personnel instead of trashing them all of the time. We really could stand to have a reawakening of our spiritual and moral compasses and that would also take care of our patriotism at the same time don't you think.

That's a cute commercial thanks.
I like beer and I am born again so I See no problem with drinking alcoholic beverages. I did have a problem as a child growing up with two that drank to much and I had to seperate them in the kitchen as they got falling down drunk. I tried to keep my sister from it but didn't do that good of a job while in grade school. In middle school and high school it was somewhat better.
