Already up! Making dinner. Grilled salmon steaks, loaded baked potaoes (bacon!), salad and bread. Moosetracks in a sugar cone. Don't want to be glassy eyed watching tv after midnight.

After a certain point pain is mostly irrelavent and suffering is optional anyway.

So, sitcoms (The Big Bang! Marathon) instead of News, humorous tumbler feeds, and classical music videos to restore my resiliency. Meditate again for a bit. Live to fight another day!

Families Belong Together Ralley at Centennial Park, here in Nashville on the 30th, I think, connecting and networking with with a national movement for a March on Washington. If my sister can get off work and push my chair. Not strictly necessary, but crowds are treacherous because of my balance issues. She's got green "I care, why don't you?" t-shirts on order from Amazon, in any case. Think I can sell those extra pink pussy hats I crocheted last winter in June? To pay my sister back for the t-shirt. Guess I've moved through the shock and sputtering stage and into another.....

Ok, I'll give you passionate, and understand exasperating, but I'm chastised regularly for long boring rants at the living room wall, as my son's hearing is super acute. He debates points he overhears from upstairs on his gaming computer later at dinner. Also hear that some on OPP don't have the attention span for long posts like this. But, there is no compulsion.

Ah, try not to take this the wrong way, 😬 but my ambivalence about proffered prayer was settled when someone pointed out that a praying Theist is at least preoccupied from other effective mischief! 😳

Sorry, I was spell checking that last before it set in stone and realize the opiates addled my tongue! I was conflating the effects of dopamine and oxytocin when I should havexspecified which was involved where.

No biggie, but I wouldn't want to saddle you with the necessity of posting back to correct that for me.

I’m curious, why do you work so hard at proving your intelligence and knowledge? You’re not intimidating or embarrassing me ! I don’t have a clue what the effects of dopamine and oxytocin is and I’m not interested enough to look it up. An intellectual at your age that has not acquired a level of humility and at least a little ‘wisdom’ has spent way too much time talking instead of listening! You’ve told several stories today on this and other threads that lead me to believe that you are hanging on to a lot of access baggage that you should have let go of many years ago. Many of us has had some pretty hard knocks in life, some more than others, they just haven’t shared them with everyone. I hope you find that peace that seems to have alluded you so far! I’ve enjoyed sparring with you today, and yes, you can claim victory and put another notch on your mantle if that brings you joy! I’m here to please! Till we meet again! Goodnight and God Bless!

I was glad to have the chance to share my thoughts and heart with you without a filter. Thank you for the nature and extent of your sincerity. This sudden unexpected spirit of amity was more than reciprocated. Perhaps this "morning after" ambivalence is to be expected as a matter of course rather than a testament to a certain duplicity on anyone's part. I am sorry you felt insecure that you couldn't "keep up" somehow. You gave as credible an impression of enjoying the ride, as of sincerity and amity!

It is perplexing that you now view a friendly conversation as "sparring!" What is the context for "victory" here, or "mantle notching!?" All I'm experiencing is a vague ennui, quickly dispelled as I begin my morning meditation. The daily topic suggested by my guide is the virtue of compassion and forgiveness. But I'm sure you have little interest in that and I must stop abusing your kindness with my longwinded ramblings! These opiates have the subtle effect of loosening my tongue(keyboard). Apologies for the imposition.

If it occurs to you to spend time and effort to pray or invoke arcane blessings on my behalf, knock yourself out! Spend all the time you please. You know my feelings on the matter.
