According to surveys conducted by Morning Consult, in every US state, Donald Trump’s net approval rating in May 2018—the share of people who approve of the job he is doing minus those that disapprove—was down from when he entered office. Even in the states where Trump remains quite popular, his net approval has fallen.

State
January 2017
May 2018
Change in popularity
Alabama 36 30 -6
Louisiana 31 25 -6
Maryland -13 -20 -7
South Dakota 21 14 -7
West Virginia 37 27 -10
Georgia 18 7 -11
Mississippi 34 23 -11
South Carolina 25 14 -11
Nevada 10 -2 -12
Wyoming 40 28 -12

Trump’s fall in popularity is not unusual. Political analysts at FiveThirtyEight point out that in the first year of his presidency, Barack Obama’s popularity also fell in every state. Presidents typically start out popular, and get less so over their tenure.

Still, it is interesting to note the patterns where the US president is holding ground. Trump seems to be retaining approval in the states where he was most popular initially. In four of the five states where Trump’s popularity fell least, his net approval was greater than 20 points when he entered office. Maryland is the exception. Trump was so unpopular from the beginning, with a 13 point net disapproval, he didn’t have far to fall.

I for one find Trump a better President now than on January 20, 2017...

But, then again, I'm someone who follows and evaluates for myself what actions he's taken vs what others think about his actions...

And for whatever reason, I don't seem to ever be polled about anything political in nature...

Are these the same pollsters who told us that Donald J. Trump had a very narrow road to the White House? What you progressives can not accept is that the public is finally waking up to your snake oil solutions that only make the problems worse.

FDR's solutions weren't any different from Hitlers' and Barack H. Obama's were no different from Marx's. My only hope is that it's not too late.

The Electoral College ensures a geographic distribution of support. Only embittered malcontents & the morally obtunded insensates who see nothing wrong with fetuses having their heads smashed, congenital hustlers and their uneducated dupes supported her.

He knows all that, he is just like all liberals, he can't accept anything that doesn't go his way.

California and New York soundly rejected him. The rest of the country soundly accepted him, he won 30 out of 50 states. Get over it!

Actually, the 3 million votes, that its said, kilary ,had more than Donald, were made up of the 4 million, dead, and illegal voters, that kilary was counting on,but,1 million were caught voting illegaly,so that's where the 3 million numbers, came from.

It is my belief that without illegal voting, the Democratic Party would be dead in two years.

Why do you think the left rejects any action to clean up voter fraud? They want it, that's why. Without voter fraud they would be down the tubes.

No she absolutely did not. If she had, those states in question would have turned over their ballots....BUT...they didn't. Why? Because the voter fraud would have been exposed. They refused to prove their claim.
So why don't you libs stop crying 'she won, she won' when she didn't win crap.

Oh! Wait! She DID win if you continue to count all the dead voters and the illegal voters, and those who voted Trump but somehow their vote ended up for Killary, not to mention the workers who threw away Trump ballots. Even with all this hodge podge of illegal voter activity, Trump still 'skint' killary to the bone. America elected the man they wanted despite all the low down, despicable, lies, voter fraud, and just plain illegal activity. If anybody interfered with our election, it was the democratic liberal side.
Get over it....... SHE LOST BIG TIME !!!!!!!!!!!!
