I think part of it is because we believe in something after this life....something so unbelievably great that in comparison this could be maybe the Hell in part so often mentioned. For the secularist, this is all they have. My new favorite word, reprobate, is for me, the right word to describe the Left. I also think that after 8 years of Obama, the Left came to the conclusion you don't have to be "civil", or cordial, or show some degree of sanity. After making claims that he was going to 'unite' this country, he did nothing of the sort. Instead, he left knowing that the country was so divided like never before. And I think inwardly he was proud of it....just my observation. So for Trump, I don't know what it will take to change things to the point we become united, or if it is even possible, but Trump has the mentality (I hope) to press on. And so do the American electorate. No main stream TV, no award shows, no White House Correspondence Dinners, and, above all we take the ignorant leftys especially on OPP, with a grain of salt....or ignore them completely...whatever suits your fancy. For me, no more swearing at them, no more giving them the benefit of the doubt, no more trying to bring them over to my side, because they're not going to change. Whatever, who cares. Fox news needs to take a great deal of the blame for the divisiveness in the country. A large number of people get their news only from Fox which broadcasts lies and omissions 24/7. If they only watch Fox as it appears Trump does naturally they are misguided.
