They are changing IHOP to IHOB on 06/11/18......Can somebody tell me what B in IHOB stand for????...Why the change in the first place???

It sounds like a publicity stunt to me. They don't serve only breakfast any more (pancakes) so maybe it reflects that?

I read that somewhere, too, but it doesn't make very much sense, since bacon is served mostly as a side order. I've seen the name two ways: IHOB, and IHOb.

They should clean up their restaurants and leave the name alone; I might consider eating in one of their places again.

Sounds like IHOb is merely going to be a promotional branding for IHOP's new line of burgers... Sorta like McDonald's McCafe...

Lori, they are coming out with a new line of burgers. I asked our waitress what they were going to do with all of the sugar packs, the coffee mugs and everything else that has IHOP on it. She has no idea but it is going to have to cost a ton of $'s to replace everything with IHOB. Mike
